I smell a trade this off season for Miami. Even if they escape this see saw affair they would be downright stupid to face Indiana once again next year in the playoffs with the same formula plus 1 year on the odometer once again for Wade. Bosh will be the most likely to be moved for a center plus young assets.

How about Wade?  With his injuries and dog years, he's like, what?  45 years old already.  As one writer said, Lebron went to Miami to partner with Robin, not Alfred ;D

Yes, agree.  Small ball won't work for Miami anymore.  That's why they got Birdman but still they need Giraffe Man, not a bird.  They are now in the brink of being booted out by a much taller team in Indiana.  They might be the best small ball team in the NBA but still, the NBA is a land of the giants. Height is might.  As always.

It would be sacrilege to trade Wade. He might renegotiate his contract to a much lower value come expiry though which will make his steady decline much easier to swallow for the Miami organization plus they can get better assets to convince LBJ to stay with the money saved. Alam naman ng lahat na LBJ needs established superstars to get the job done and role players ain't enough for the guy because he just might bolt out come 2014.

They say you just simply can't teach height..now that the real weakness of Miami is exposed for all the world to see other teams will simply gear up with the same formula. Don't get me wrong though...small ball is good enough to win it all once again but look at their struggles...they haven't even contained Hibbert for one game. They guy just gets 20 and 10 night in and out against Miami. They don't have an answer for him. Bosh struggles tremendously when he is asked to guard a prolific forward just like West. Three years ago he struggled mightily as well in the hands of Dirk. OKC had Durant but that assignment went to LBJ so Bosh ruled the roost against the likes of Perkins and a still developing Ibaka.

Well Indiana's structure comes to no surprise since its helmed by none other than Larry Legend who in his prime was flanked by Parish and Mchale and backed up by Walton at some time. That was the most fearsome front court in the NBA during its time that resulted to multiple rings. The guy pukes at the idea of small ball.

Funny how life takes a sudden turn..just a few months ago Miami was on a 27 game tear and everybody was pencilling their name on the trophy already including some here in pdvd who even expected them to go undefeated in the playoffs. Suddenly they are one loss away from losing it all and if they manage to pull through another team with a more potent formula plus multiple championship experience in the Spurs are just waiting in the wings looking at how Indiana is dissecting the champs apart. With Tony Parker having a tremendous playoff run plus Duncan at his old self and Manu 50% of who he was they might just be able to wrestle the Championship away.

Exciting two weeks for basketball fans

Hey bro...I don't even care if they win or lose. I dont even root for the teams remaining. I just enjoy the game as it is. It's a whole lot better than watching reality TV ain't it?

You can quote for all you want bro if that floats your boat.

Why wait for the win?  Every person in the nba is ruling small ball out.  Lets face it, miami is in this fight because of lebron james.  Its not because of small ball play, they tried to turn their defense on and tried to come up with their penultimate gear (as you described, they have a better/higher gear than everyone)but the series is still tied.  They may well win this championship, but it is still proven that small ball is a lot less consistent compared to raw height.

Yes no doubt na miami can win against pacers the question now is can they defend the ring against spurs?

Trade wade and bosh...for bogut and klay...

IND controlled most of this series.

Eh kasi di naman daw iniinvolve masiyado sila Wade and Bosh. Kita ko nga nung game 6 panay salaksak si Lebron (which is good kasi simpleng layup namimintis ni Wade e).

Si Haslem lang secret weapon jan. Pag uminit, sure win. Lakas ng team defense nila nun and the offense was flowing. Kelangan mag ala-Magic Johnson si Lebron bukas. Siguradong mananalo sila.

Can't wait for the Spurs-Heat series! :D

parang may stretch dun na umokay laro ni Wade tapos binangko after a few minutes. haha

Baka gusto talaga ni Spo mag-game 7. More training for his boys in preparation for their match up with the Spurs. :D

Pero sa totoo lang ang lakas nung lineup nila they have wade, bosh, LBJ and Allen what more you can ask for that line up.

Will history repeat itself for the Heat? Abangan bukas.  :)
