again, this is just out of curiousity lang. What if someone points out that the big 3 flops, and they flop a lot, mind you. Does that mean hater na?

yung mga non-Heat fans (read: considered as Haters by Heat fans) na pumusta sa Heat, I guess alam lang nilang malakas talaga yung Heat. No one denies na powerhouse yung Heat. Kahit ako na di ako fan, if I was a betting man, I'd put my money on the Heat to win it all. doesn't mean fan ako...or hater.

Well, there's a team fan, a team hater, and a basketball fan for me.

Team Fan =  I love the Lakers.  Been a fan since Magic Kareem.  Been a fan since Kobe came in.  Been a fan since Kobe Shaq.  Been a fan since their 3 peat, 2 peat and their horrible seasons. 

Team Hater = Sa NBA, maybe Boston?  Kasi arch rival ng Lakers.  Sa NCAA, I hate Baste sobra because of Abueva.  Sa UAAP, I love it when La Salle loses.  Why?  No logical reason.  Because you hate them, is all.  Oh yes, I hate the Clippers.  Because I don't like them being better than the Lakers.  See?  panis ang reasons pag hater eh.  Di mo lang type talaga. 

Basketball Fan = You just love a team.  You love a series.  You love coaching strategies.  You love adjustments.  You love a player because he is extraordinary.  Jordan, Kobe, Lebron.  I used to bash Lebron.  He got better and better.  I now compare him to God I like Hibbert, George.  I like Lillard.  I love GSW!!  I don't like the Spurs but you have got to love how they execute brilliant plays.

Kaya nga i keep saying, pag Lakers ang nasa series, I don't bet at all sa spread because chances are I get emotional and will always bet on my team kahit pangit yun spread.  So kadalasan olats.  Mind you, the Lakers is very poor in covering spreads.  For you to win, you have to bet on the other team.  So not for fans talaga.

No, not really, but if one makes fun out of somebody's looks/appearance and calls Heat players names can you say that they just like the underdogs, hindi pa din ba hater yun? To me hater na yun. They just have to admit it.

But I've got all the respect for Lebron in terms of basketball talent and what he can do with that talent. So I don't know how you can say I hate Lebron. Heck, if he were to play for the Lakers, I'd be more than happy to buy one of his jerseys. Pag si Bosh naging Lakers, I'd still rant a lot about him. Ganun ang hate for me. Iba yata sayo.
