how long do i need to break in my speakers in terms of number of hours to enjoy it to its fullest break-in capacity?

also, when im listening to music, i usually set the crossover of my DTX4.12 at around 80-90mhz and then when watching DVDs i set it at around 100-120mhz.  my question is what is the right freq so i will change it when listening to music or watching a DVD?

coz what i did in my mitsubishi adventure's sole 12inch ported sub is set it at 80mhz to enjoy it and this was based on car audio forums...

dvh

Sir DVH,

Do you happen to know the height of your Euro8? Pwedi po malaman dimension nya?

Tuloy na pagpunta ko sa Raon this saturday, I hope dipa sila magtataas ng price by that team.

Don't worry bro, kumpare ko at Moses Aaron confirmed from a Daiichi agent that until the last week of January pa. After that, balik na sa dati. Oh and aah, Moses Aaron has got the lowest base prices as far as I know, and they can give you an extra 5% discount, just in case you wanna know.  ;D

Already purchased two more pairs of Euros 8 bookshelf speakers last friday. Expecting it to arrive this week. Natakot kasing maabutan ng pagtaas ng presyo. Nag-panic. He he he. ;D

1 pair of euros8 flrstander tower
1 pair of euros8 surround
1 pair of pl100   surround
1 center of pl100
1 DTX 4.12 sub...

kasyang kasya sa likod ng adventure.  i need to fold the second layer seats of adventure para sakto lang.  nga pala yung 1/4 nung likod ng adventure ko sakop ng car ported sub ko na 12" din yon...laki rin ng MDF non...1/4 ng likod ng adventure pag di naka fold ang 2nd row seats....

Bought a pair of Euros8 yesterday. Muntik na akong naubusan. I went there with friend who also bought a pair and center. By order pala sa Moses kaya di kami nakakuha doon. So we went to Knights Audio who, as usual, treated us very well. Audiotioned the Euros 8 with Sakura 327 and was amazed with its performance. ANG LAKAS!!! and most importantly, very clear and detailed.

Muntik na akong umuwing luhaan ng sabihin nilang isang pair na lang ang Euro 8 nila and next day pa daw delivery. Di naman ako pwedeng bumalik dahil Pampanga pa ako.  :(

Good thing dumating ang boss nila na si Jenny and I asked her if she can do something about it until she referred me to the store near theirs. Sigh, what a relief when the other store told me they still have one pair left and they gave that to me for only P5400  :o

Right after unloading them sa bahay, I wasted no time,  I removed the DTX tower, switched them as my Surround then placed the Euros 8 infront, loaded the Linkin Park concert, played NUMB and I smiled like this -  ;D because of satisfaction.

I like its MASSIVE SIZE!!! ASTEEEGGGGGGGGG!!!

By the way, for those who wants to know.  3'9" tall, 13" length sa side and 10" wide sa front ang Euros8.

Bro Yakuini,

But since you already did, okay lang naman siguro.  ;)

Everybody who plans on buying Euros:

Try nyo na lang ulit sa Moses Aaron kasi ganun pa rin daw ang price sa kanila, yung supposedly for bro Yakuini. Hurry!  ;D

Oh and ahh, if anybody would like to find out how much my Euros 8 cost me, here it is:

Towers: 5,100 per pair(Yup, my kumpare gives me a higher discount  ;D)
Bookshelf: 2,650 per pair (I got 3 pairs)
Center: 1,650

God Bless, my brothers!  :)

Sana you went to Moses Aaron kasi he texted me yesterday na sila, hanggang last week of January pa talaga.  Anyway, you got a big discount naman from Daiichi e, di naman gaano kalaki ang difference. God Bless.  :)

My kumpareng Mike told me so, and yes, they're prices are until the last week of January pa raw since yun din ang sabi ng agent nila. But try nyo lang sa Moses Aaron and look for Mike, they may still have the same prices.  ;)

Oh and ahh, the people at Daiichi Mega mall told me the entire Euros line (both 6 and 8) will be returning to their old prices.  :'(

That's right Bro. Nagkita kami ng kumpare mo and sad to say, ala silang stocks.

Bro, do you have any idea how much is 12" DTX Sub? Nakalimutan kong itanong...langya, lumubog na ang DTX 4.8 ko na sub, kailangan na ring palitan  ;D

I am still awed with the beauty of my Euros8  :o :o :o

Ang sarap ng feeling pag nakapagbigay no? I gave my Sakura to a friend and bought her Promac 5.1T for her speakers. May 327 pa ba? I heard wala na e. But I'm sure meron din namang 387, also at Moses Aaron. It's okay, bro, but thanks.

Bro, do you have any idea how much is 12" DTX Sub? Nakalimutan kong itanong...langya, lumubog na ang DTX 4.8 ko na sub, kailangan na ring palitan  ;D

The price my kumpare gave me the last time I asked was around 7,800, but with a 5% discount, you could get it for around 7.6K. Regarding your 4.8, why not bring it to the Raon showroom and have it repaired? Remember the lifetime free service warranty that come with Daiichis? Yes, they'll fix it for you for free, you just have to be the one to pay for replaced parts. Then since the feeling of Christmas giving is still with you, maybe you can give it to your brother na rin. O di ba? You get to become somebody's hero pa. He he he.  ;D

I am still awed with the beauty of my Euros8  :o :o :o

Yeah, me too. Anlaki no? A lot of my friends have seen it and this is the first time lahat sila walang masabi but praises. And except for the D'Appolito configuration and finish, they do look like Yamaha NS-777s, no? Parang biglang lumiit ang 29" tv ko.  ;D Ingat.

Are these both RPTVs? But if I were to choose from both, I'd go for the 43" set. Sayang pa kasi ang 25K e, for 7" more.... Just me though.  ;D

yup both are RPTV's.  yan din nga ang iniisip ko too expensive for 7" difference. puwede ko na ulit ibili yung sukli ng isa pang set ng Euros8.  ;D

If I were you bro, and this is if I were you nga, I'd get one of those 36" Sony Wega tv's na surplus, 23K lang, or any other brand new na 36" din na CRT tv, but if you can really afford it, why not save for a 42" Plasma display panel, I heard LG PDPs cost around 140K. I just think buying a monitor that's almost 100K is not such a great idea, since malapit na naman dun ang price ng plasma. So kung size lang naman ang habol mo, CRT tvs are better than RPTVs, but that's just me. Or you could go all the way and get an LCOS tv from Kolin.

There are many center speakers meant to be positioned on the floor. They often have a slant so the drivers face the viewer/listner.  You should angle the center so its driver will fire at you at the same imaginary horizontal line as the L and R speakers at your listening/viewing position.
