oh kita kits sa dai-ichi?parang mini EB hehehe! hindi kaya magulat si sir John dun? sana available na yung T-amp. by the way wala pang center and bukshelfs, wala pa rin silang knowlede kung kelan sila magkakaroon. pero pwede naman daw by order.

sayang nga hindi ako naka bili ng center at bukshelf sa kanila, kasi mura sana sa dai-ichi mega. sa raon over price eh. pero naka kuha na ako. sayang lang, kakamadali kasi.

anyways. kaya daw limited ang Euros 8 set-up kasi, over production ang Euros 6 pinapaubos pa daw...

sorry din brod, medyo nagtataka lang ako ang dami lang talga nag bebenta ng kevlars like wharfs, B&W etc. at hindi lang kev's ha iba pang branded na audio gears din... pero im not against it ciguro hindi lang na meet ang demands nila...

anyways. sa dai-ichi in defense lang naman yung sa products natin. kasi like from my comparison.

BOSE being hated (with reason)

Dai-ichi descriminated naman. eh ang mura naman nito, so ciguro yung dati nilang product hindi pa ganun ka pulido. pero Now sa tingin ko they need to have a chance to grow and be accepted sa audiophile world...

again sorry din. I hope I did not offend you...

No problem with me bro  ;D

Sir comment lang ako sa sinabi mo ah? please dont be offended...  ;)

kaya ba sila bumili ng kevlar speakers para ibenta ulit? diba bago sila bumili ng speakers eh cigurado namn nag research muna sila d2? again. the question is, kaya ba nila binili to kevlar speakers para ibenta ulit dahil meron bago at mas mataas na model ng kevlars or other brands... tapos what happen next pag na bili na naman nila ito, a few months time benta ulit dahil meron na naman bago and so on and so... san ang logic dun or the edge of reason? walang katapusan yun...

how about dun sa naka bili ng competent dai-ichi speakers (like Euros 8). diba sabi nung iba, kaya konti lang ang nag bebenta n2 or bihira kase baka konti lang ang bumi-bili nito (well sorry for them) or....
baka naman bumili na sila pero nanghihinayang ibenta ulit, dahil mura na nga ang price sa brand new, maganda pa ang perforance. so kung ibebenta pa na nila ito, pretty sure mas mura pa sa murang bnew price ng dai-ichi kaya they rather keep it. dahil sayang naman...

so saan ang mas cost effective? and at the same time worth keeping audio gears...

OT na to pero still boils down to one thing dai-ichi. alam mo minsan hindi ma-intidihan ang tao tulad ng examples na to:

yung BOSE bashers nagagalit dahil mahal ang BOSE ang pangit naman ng performance at wala pang tech specs indicated ang products nila...

tapos...  ::)

eto naman ang Dai-ichi na pagka mura mura at swerte tayo dahil dito ginawa sa sariling bansa supportado pa natin ang pinoy products. indicated lahat ng tech specs at napaka transparent pag dating sa performance naman maasahan dahil sa warranty. competitive pa siya sa hi-end audio. pero eto discriminated naman.

so....ANO BA TALGA KUYA!!! ang gusto nyo????  ???  ::)

sir not offended naman.. wala naman akong ganyang gears e.. pero wag mo naman sir punahin yung decision nila bat nila binili yung speakers na yun.. sabi mo nga don sa post mo... respeto lang.. basta happy ka sa gears mo e, dapat isipin mo na happy din sila.. e di lahat tayo happy..  ;)  :D peace po..  :)

sir, kaya po may disclaimer po ako na "please dont be offended" kaya po ako nag comment nun, dahil its just an observation clinging on my mind saka isa pa just an expression of such opinion lang po, gumana lang po kasi yung analytic portion ng mind ko eh hehehe!

anyways its just a comparison ng mga products between dai-ichi and other brands po. the depreciation, performance ratio between value, resales etc etc... wala pong ibang ibig sabihin yun kung hindi pure obervations, comments and suggestions... free naman po ito diba?

ang intindi ko lang kung bakit mas marami nagbebenta agad ng mamahaling speakers is because the sellling price will actually "compensate" un kulang sa budget nila to purchase a higher/better models.

Example lang po
kung meron akong euros8 and a BW 602  and im planning to upgrade to dynaudio focus series. sa akin lng  better sell the BW para mas kunti na lng idadagdag ko to get a pair of dyns which is probably a better speaker than the two.  ;D

So sa mga katulad ko na mejo kapos sa budget mahirap talaga palitan ang euro8 because of price difference sa branded and better speakers like dynaudio. A very huge adjustment sa budget if i decided to jump from a very good local speaker to a better foreign speakers.

Sa mga owner ng Dai-ichi speakers lahat ba kayo gamit nyong avr ay Yamaha?
Maganda rin ba tunog nya sa HK.
Meron na kasi akong HK at medyo kapos sa budget to buy the actual speakers na gusto ko.
Balak ko sana iyang euros 8 napansin ko lang puro Yamaha ang receiver ang naka-pair sa kanya.

Here's my observation: I once heard the Euros 8 being auditioned on an HK. It performed better on Audio. It had less clarity on HT. I could say it was because of the receiver. It made me conclude that the Euros are a pretty neutral speaker system. It performed very well on HT but was weak on Audio with a Yamaha. It was great on Audio but was a bit muffled on HT with an HK. These floorstanders perform very well with a "bassy" amp. I've also used other Daiichi speakers on Pioneers, which to me, for Audio applications, is a great combo. But that's just my own ears.  ;D

Oh sa mga na offend po sorry na! its just. I want to defend Dai-ichi for this nice product (Euros 8) kung baga need not to go further in terms of value vs: performance. eto na nasa bansa na natin itong dai-ichi speakers na ito. bigyan naman natin ng chance...

sa break in period naman, I have no idea kung ilan hours. basta nung hinook ko siya sa Yamaha AVR (795a) ang ganda na nag reproduction ng audio at HT. almost lahat ng DSP nagagamit ko, Rock concert, Concert hall, Jazz, Mono movie, DD Enhanced, DTS enhanced. galing galing...  ;D

Balak ko sana iyang euros 8 napansin ko lang puro Yamaha ang receiver ang naka-pair sa kanya.

well mostly Yamaha ang gamit kahit sa mga showrooms ng dai-ichi mismo Yamaha din ang AVR's nila. well based on my listening...

Iba talga ang tandem nitong dalwa. iba ang chemistry. yung Dai-ichi (Euros) nag perperform ng mukhang mamahalin branded speakers. pang naka hook up sa Yamaha. kung baga bang for the buck.

like what im using right now Yamaha 795a and Euros 8 system (except the sub) sa terms of performance. audio performs well. sa HT naman panalong panalo medyo may edge talga compare sa HK. kahit wala pang sub galing ng dynamic range. nakakagulat sa effects. sa analysis ko. Im not using a high-performance AVR and lalo na sa speakers. pero na aachive niya na ma-entertain ako. pero its just me ciguro iba ang preference ng iba.

me Im some how stuck on this system. I rather enjoy my fine time with these gears rather than upgrading from time to time. yung naman ang purpose nitong mga gear na ito eh. to entertain me. not to impress others... matatagalan pa bago ako magupgrade into a higher braded version..

hanns,

I'm a patriot myself, so like you I like our homegrown stuff.

It all boils down to everyones ears kaya lahat tayo dito privelaged na magkaroon ng kahit na anong gears na gusto natin. Mabuhay ka.

yung mga katulad namin... pasensya na ho?

anyways getting back to Dai-ichi thread... bakit kaya dun sa website nila (www.dai-ichi.ph) yung euros 8 towers nila naka lagay triple 6" woofer pero kung titignan mo 2 lang ata, then yung isa parang midrange yata ito then tweeter.

tapos sa rating nila 150w yung towers, center at bookshelfs, kahit iba iba ang drivers nila. pero its okey naman dahil cool naman ang timbre matching...

i think its a virtue to take care of your equipment whatever price you bought it...sa yo yan e. ok ang daiichi for the price, pero merong speakers na mas ok...mas mahal nga lang...if you can afford it..go for it, kung hindi..at least ok ang price perfrmance ratio. depends on your priorities man. i would rather not have to lug my speakers to a service center ke malapit or hindi, better take care of it na lang :)

hindi ko po tinitira ang daiichi, nagsisisi nga ako sa dtx speakers na katulad ng klipsch sb2 na pinakawalan ko, and my speakers with marble enclosure uses a daiichi hifi woofer..and i love the way it sounds :)
