Made In China?  YES! Kasi si David Dicks is wise to get the production in China.  Materials are all high quality.  Almost all manufacturing of U.S.and Europe are already in China.  Cheap labor high quality.

The sound of Audio Nirvana speakers  in "proper speaker enclosure" can rival famous high end speakers in the market. It doesn't sound cheap esp.after 200 hours breaking in period.  The reason why snobol and me got Standard 8 and keep it for good.  The longer these speakers are player the better they perform.  The speakers is also not choosy in amp.  But performs at its best, if paired with better amps and DAC. :)

Ok I found it. Nelson Pass bought a pair of it Super 8 Steel Frame.  http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/full-range/200516-audio-nirvana-super-8-a.html I would suggest to use the 2.8 mk2 box for this super 8 and be patient in breaking it in.  Also use, a gauge 12 hi quality copper wire inside it.  Never use silver wire on fullrange to avoid weak bass.  The super 8 models has good hf extension and very detailed mid.  But at first 100 hours, this will sound like fatiguing.  It's normal.

Si soundgarden nag break in using 1 inch thick marine ply yata...OB.  So, walang problema.  Mag OB ka muna.  Para di masipa iyong speakers...

may nagbigay sa akin bro...isang mabuting kaibigan at mamamayan ng pdvd. :), super 8 cast frame.....bilang regalo sa burpday ko last week..... :) mamaya ko susunduin ung magdadala dito sa kuwait, 9am ang dating, qatar airways.... :)

balak na nya dati pa, actually, isa ako sa mga nagpareserve. but have to let go since may grasya.

magkakaroon ka din ulit bro....marami pang darating and hopefully, maging distro na si dts dito, para bang for the buck na speaker....all is happy... :)

The simplest way of doing the open baffles for your AN super 8 and super 12. With side adjustment. ;D

Kaya mong matapos yan in one day. Kung may maganda kang corner area sa house mo may gapang ang Bass nyan. Hindi ka pa gagastos ng malaki for the enclosure while breaking in. Right now im happy with open baffles.

im using a 12gauge inch speaker cable wire....

Ganda naman ng speaker wire mo bro.  Ang laki talaga ng magnet ng Audio Nirvana nu, parang pang subz. Btw, 50watts (60w pwede na din) amp lang tayo sa AN para sigurado safe ang speakers natin.

Bro defcon, what is your location in the Philippines?  Btw, congrats! Di ka magsisi diyan bro.  Kapag na break in ng husto yan at nailagay sa 2.8Mk2 speaker cabinet...para kang naka subz of high end quality.  Napaka musical ng bass. :)

taga rizal ako bro, angono...1st 14.5hrs, nakakabit lang dun sa marantz sr7000i, after making the temporary cabinet, sinalpak ko dun sa brys, lutang na agad ung mids and hi nya. (nasa 7oclock lang  :))...since nakaopen, i did not expect much of the Low Freq...besides the woofer needs to soften up.. ganda nya magvocal....now, more than 30hrs of playing, paganda ng paganda pa lalo. will gradually increase the volume after 50hrs, then at 100 and 150hrs...what more pag nakalagay na sa cab... ::) ::)

tinabas ko yung big speaker cabinet, and cut it into 2....(supposed to be ung jbl 4321, kaso may nagkainteres pa...  :D :D :D)

now, eto na sya ngayon temporarily

pag gabi, magdamag ung vintage na sansui.
