Audio Nirvana fullrange speakers are very sensitive and transparent sounding. Your cables, audio gears true character can be heard with these speakers. So,be careful on using these with silver wire content cable or fuse. I tested it, the hi and mid details were increased even if the speakers have very good hi freq
Mid details. When you use silver wire or silver content on cables and fuse in your amp (not cdp fuse)bass will be affected and become lean. Better to use high quality copper wires. I think silver wires are best for speakers with xover or less detailed SQ. This is my conclusion in my experiment.

Labas n labas talaga character ng tube amp mo sa Audio Nirvana.  Walang maitago.  Nice bro.

Actually You Tube Video is not the proper way to have a listening test, to assess an audio system.  However, if the SQ of Audio Nirvana is already good in You Tube as in you can hear the details and 3D soundstage without acoustic treatment that truly help upgrade the SQ of an audio system, means the speaker itself is really good once you hear it in actual listening test.  Though, the quality of the camera use also affects the video uploaded, there are times it still sounded good just like shrek7 uploaded videos.   That is why I uploaded a video using i phone.  The SQ was degraded compared to previous video recording using Sony DIGICAM.

Mga masters ok lang po ba bs ang gamitin kong enclosure? Limited po talaga space sa paglalagyan ko eh saka naisip ko po na mas convenient sya i move kung sakali. Bass lang po ba ang mawawala kung di floorstander gamitin ko? Naisip ko po gamitin na lang yun sub ko para sa bass..

Btw, bass frequency hz will not be low as floorstand 2.8 mk2. But bass is there and solid. It will not disappear.

^already sent fentom the monitor plan that I've got straight from David just today. I also asked David regarding the port which was way too large, and maybe I can replace it with 2-3 same area smaller circles for looks and this was his reply:

"We recommend the single 6 inch port because it is then possible to retune the cabinet by adding a port tube. Our 6 inch Big port is 28 square inches. Our Twin port is two 3 inch holes which are 14 square inches. Believe it or not, adding a port tube that is 4.5 inches long--to the single 6 inch Big Port--will result in the exact same tuning as the Twin Port!!! In other words, this port tube 'reduces' the 28 square inches to only 14 square inches. It does not make sense, but this is what happens. You can use two smaller ports that will total 28 square inches. Two 4.25 inch ports will be 28 square inches, the same as the single 6 inch Big Port. But I think it is easier to just use a grill to cover the Big Port, don't you think? If you have already built the cabinet this way."

... so the 6" port really has the advantage as you can tune them by varying the length of the port tubes, 4.5" length nga as per David. Unlike the smaller ports that I am planning, natutune pa din naman pero hula hula na lang ang mangyayari. Or I will just design my enclosure so that the front cover is removable para pwede ako magpalit ng cover if I like different tuning. 1 front cover with two 3" ports and 1 with 6" port. Pag port tube kasi gagamitin ko dapat naka fix talaga yun to limit port noise, tapos babakbakin ulit kung nagsawa na...

Ok.....monitor pa din siya kaso yung width ng monitor magiging depth sa mk2. at iyong depth ng monitor magiging width ng mk2. If you like more bass than balance sounding or natural use twin port.

Pero ako sa big port pa din. Kasi mas tama ang bass niya. Basta ilagay ang port sa lower area and not near the speaker.

Reminder: Kapag nKa monitor mk2 makitid ang width at malalim ang depth...kaya ang 6"port hole nasa lower center area na at not on the side like the monitor orig.

I asked him before regarding what was the best enclosure plan in his personal opinion and gave me the 2.8mk2 for more bass extension. This will save you from using a subwoofer for audio. But if space is limited then the monitor plan will fit your needs. Also, 'told me not to use stands if I will be building the monitor plan.

This out of the topic but it helps you people in finding an ideal amp for AN. Shrek7 -Sidny and I agreed that a good sounding amp means natural and transparent sounding are those that are minalist design (few stages only 1 or 2) and powered by very good quality tranny such as edrel's tranny design. You don't need an avr and line conditioner with his top of the line tranny. Many tube and solid state amp enthusiasts, rewind thru edrel their amp tranny for better sq and dynamics. Same value but high current and very stable powr supply. (He doesn't rewind toroidal. Only e core...as far as i know).

So before you replace your vintage or tube amp, and you want better sq and dynamics bring your tranny to edrel. Just PM him. Remember the secret of an excellent true to recording amp is on its few stages in audio signal and power supply. Capacitors are only in finishing touches...like an icing on cake.
