^ Very sad news but true. My Sony LCD TV got problem 2 months after the 2 year warranty expired 2010 with intermittent on/off problem accompanied by random 6, 7 and 9 LED blink errors. I contacted Sony and the cost for parts and labor would run no less than P12t. Then my TPC Master friend learned of my ordeal and volunteered to try to trace the circuit of the power supply ( which he determined to be the culprit ) since we can not find a circuit diagram. After several days of recreating the diagram he concluded that a design flaw caused this problem. He modified the circuit by changing the value of a resistor and almost 2 years later, this unit is still working flawlessly. Cost for part, a few centavos for a 1/4 watt resistor. We installed din PC Fans at the back of the TV mula ng ma repair at heating totally gone for a CCFL backlit TV.
