I expect the 42VT30 stocks to be hard to find by  mid November as the newer VT50 series will be pushed by PANASONIC Phil's.

If you could make reservation this coming week, I highly suggest you do so to experience the great PQ and great value plasma unit at below 40k price levels.

Not into 3D? Then just get the unit only ... Less 4k...

You can't go wrong with this model...

I saw the 50VT30 at The Listening Room earlier today and was impressed. I think it was the (2nd) best performing plasma tvs on display there. 1st were the (NOT FOR SALE) Pioneer Kuro's.

Ok i think caladryl cannot contain the itch and the only remedy i can think of is to visit our friendly audio/video store,pag-uwi ko biglang nawala yung kati but 39k poorer.hay ang mahal ng gamot sa kati hahahahaha

Kung hindi super bargain/clearance sale/questionable stock - yung deal, the 42VT should be priced around 60K.  In other words, the outdated 42ST is STILL being sold at retail, while you are saving 20K for the outdated 42VT.  Kaya kung outdated ST din lang, the outdated VT at 39K is a total bargain and most definitely worth checking.

Im sure that PANA is already aware of this issue and may have already issued a firmware upgrade to resolve this matter...

again... it helps to test the unit and make sure that everything is working well.

This blob issue is apparently a flaw in the panel itself and can't be easily fixed with just a firmware update, from what I've heard. It was corrected in the 50 series, so it's a gamble talaga sa VT30.

Maybe you're right...  I guess if you have it ... you have it... or else... you got one heck of a VT plasma tv unit at a very good price

I think our local sellers cover their units with warranty naman.  So if anybody is interested with this unit but is deterred by the green blob thingie, i suggest you give it a test first and if its clear of the green blob then buy it.

If for some reason you get it within the warranty period which I highly doubt, then return it.

I think that is more than enough coverage for any prospective buyer against this green blob issue.

And seriously, you really have to consider the excellent PQ this Tv can give you at the price point that they are being sold.

Here are my questions:  What are the chances na aabot sa Xmas ang stocks ng clearance-sale VT30 sa Manila? and, what are the chances na our in-house sellers can possibly re-stock?  My opinion - MALABO pareho but I hope Im wrong.

Kung kailangan nyong umutang (but definitely sure na magbabayad dapat!), try to do so instead of waiting for Dec, where maraming spending money ang mas maraming prospective buyers.   It's not realistic to expect na bababa pa ang presyo ng VT30 at their current levels unless maging philantrophic ang mga sellers - which is unlikely.     Susmaryosep napag-usapan na lahat ng topics about this VT30 ng paikot-ikot diba.      .

If you can borrow funds... get the VT30 now before stocks run out...  By december, there is a very good possibility that stocks are already depleted...

BETTER GET YOUR VT30 ASAP... Its already at an incredibly reasonable price...

Question lang sa mga vt30 owners here. What will you do when you get the green blob issue on your tv? Curious lang ako. Especially if out of replacement period. I believe there's no fix to it right and since malabo din
malabo din mag refresh ng stocks so malabo din palitan ng bago. Im also planning to buy kaso parang hirap sumugal e. Just want to hear your thoughts. Thanks

So is it something you can live with? So every unit has this defect pala. Was it fix in VT50?
