Back read brod.  Some links were posted by barrister.  Download and store sa USB drive and let it play sa USB port ng VT30.  Cheers!

Sagad na budget ko sa 40K bro. Pahirapan pa yun bago aprubahan ni misis. :D BTW, I saw a 50" Ledtv na Skyworth sa SNS asa 43K ata. Mukhang waiting pa muna ko bago makakuha ng VT30. Mukhang its worth the wait naman upon reading this thread.

It really depends on your viewing area.

If the unit will be place in a liviring room or dedicated AV room then 50 would be good...

For me the 42VT30 is just right for my small bedroom...6x9meter area...

eitherway... the VT30 is an excellent choice...

Also... mas malakas sa kuryente yung 50 versus the 42 :)

i was at just SnS yesterday, more or less decided on the less expensive PS51E550.. Jun of SnS told me na tingnan mo ko muna ang Pana 50VT30, so he set up both TV's for a side by side comparison..

i am no expert, but out of the box, compared to PS51E550.. colors were noticeably more natural, blacks were blacks (medyo brownish pa nga ang samsung), may mga portion of some movie scenes na "dark" na malabo na sa samsung, but kitang kita pa rin sa Pana. i was really impressed with the 50VT30. and i love seamless border design of Pana.. ang ganda. seems like the price diff is between the two is really worth it.. ipon ulit :)

Yung 42" lang ata wala stock. Yung 50" kht kay Dom meron pa. Kung kaya lang ng budget ko binili ko na ung 50"

If we refrain from discussing about this TV and keep quiet until Xmas, baka umabot stocks until Xmas.   ;D ;D ;D

But I think I promoted this TV too much.   ;D ;D ;D

Anyway, go ahead and see for yourself the VT30 hanggang may chance pa kayo...definitely best buy for 42 and 50 until promo lasts and basta walang green mantsa...so please test before purchase.   :)

Wow. There are Still stocks of the 50inch model. One of the best plasma units indeed. Christmas is just a few weeks away and I'm sure that there Will Still be some stocks of there 50inch units due to It's relatively higher price.

the 50 inch has a slightly prohibitive price (60+T) vs 35-39k of the 42VT30. it's very likely that there are still stocks of the 50VT30.

I just confirmed with SnS over the phone that they do have stocks of the 50VT30 still available...

4units to be precise...  Kaya those who are planning to get their VT30 plasma units before Christmas better make your reservations ASAP.

The price of the 50incher units are indeed at a premium compared to their 42inch model... 

Best value pa din ang 42VT30 selling at 39k... COSTING ABOUT PHP928.50 per inch :D

The 50VT30 sells from 60k ~ 62k (depending where you buy the unit).... COSTING ABOUT PHP1,200 PER INCH...

either way, both are excellent choices for your Home entertainment requirements...

If you have the funds, the 50VT30 is one of the best in the market...
But if you want value for your money, the 42VT30 is also an excellent choice :D

But then the equivalent grade LEDs from Sony Samsung and Sharp for the same 50inch would cost you at least 100K.   :D.    Think about the cost peformance of this TV again compared to the Quatrons, the SonyXBR950s.  It's a travesty if people would compare the 60K top of the line 2011 Plasma to a real 60K mid level 50 incher HDTV

So kahit maging ZERO ang electric bill contribution ng LED, hindi nyo mababawi ang at least 40K difference until you buy your next HDTV.

buying and owning a plasma tv is like buying and owning a sports car, it requires expensive high-octane gasoline. you need to pay more for premium performance.  ;)

The 50V is approx. 1.45x the viewable area of the 42V.  That's a pretty significant magnification at the same viewing distance.
