Had to return my 42vt30 bec of the green blob issue. I got a full refund now im looking at just buying another tosh 46pb20.

Ok na sana yung Panasonic VT30, pero may issue pala (yung green and pink blobs), kahit yung VT50 may issue pa rin (yung banding).

^ just look for the store that still have 1pc of 42vt30 left. Most likely they will resell it again. Have nothing against the store btw. Tolerable nmn sana kaso once you see it yun na lang ng yun hahanapin at makikita mo and this is coming fr a guy that has a problem determining colors. Tama sabi nung isang

Just to ask. Did you test the VT30 sa store before you purchased, or sa bahay mo nalang binuksan?

If it was delivered to your house untested, did you notice the green blob immediately upon first usage?

Very sorry to hear about your VT30 but at least you were able to return without hassles. Did you think about
replacing with another VT30 at all?

2. Pricing in the US is the one of the main reasons why Japanese CE makers are losing billions. It's just outrageous to be selling at prices way way below the levels where the makers are headquartered.

I did test it at the store before buying it. I also used the same content as posted here. Yung crab scene and patterns. During that time wala naman ako nakita issue so I took it home thinking its worth the risk. The thing with this green blob issue it doesnt show on all the materials I played. May certain parts lang or certain materials lang siya lumalabas or mas nakikita. Like I said earlier mahina ako sa colors but when my wife noticed it dun ko talaga siya napuna. There's nothing to replace wala na sila stock ng 42" hindi kaya ng budget ko yung 50". Halos sabay ko binili yung toshiba 46PB20 and VT30 and so far ok na ko sa tosh kaya yun na lang binili ko ulit. But the VT30 wala katulad the bezel the craftmanship its almos perfect sayang talaga. I'll be waiting for that VT50 sana competitive pa din price kahit 50" ipon ipon na!

Haven't started my setup here yet, but I am leaning on the Yamaha RX-A3020 or the Denon AVR-4311...

I personally feel the VT50 is certainly the best 1080p HDTV in Tokyo (there are no Samsung HDTVs in Japan to compare with so my basis would only be the top of the line Quatrons and Sonys which are pretty awesome as well) - the only PQ that beats it is that of the Sony 4K, but that's a totally different story. hehehe.

But cmon my friend, you really really like Full Array LED based on your most recent TV purchase. You chose an LED over the VT30 so the VT50 is gonna be the same story. Taksil! Hahaha.

Since mura naman sa US, why not wait for the 4313 or consider the latest top-class models from Onkyo (5xxx) and Yamaha?

Sumakit sana mata and ulo mo sa tingkad ng LED. hahaha. Actually gustong gusto ko rin yung top of the line ng Sony and Sharp pero isa lang kasya sa bulsa and bahay ko...kaya VT fanboi pa rin ako.

Get the house first and the rest should be easy to set-up. Hirap mag-set-up ng HT paulit ulit especially kung malalaki yung devices and totally abala sa panonood and quality time - unless you truly enjoy endless re-setting-up like some members here do. hehehe

Been ng on this thread for quite some time now and decided na ako na ito ang bibilhin ko. Kaso tried contacting sir vic of sns pero wala na daw sila stocks for the 42 inches, either the ST30 series wala din stocks. San ba may stocks neto ngayon and sinu yung Sir dom? san located ang store niya?

And if you can recommend other brand/models na bang for the buck din and san mabibili yung mura sana. Max budget would be 41k.
