What to get?

Am in the process of building my own ht, i'm looking for suggestions on what media player to get.
I want:
1080p support minimum
Stable and fast start
3D capable
Will play most formats
Will play bd iso
With ipad app is a plus
Has jukebox capabilities
Support (warranty)

I don't want:
Buggy system
Very hard to operate

Will be used mainly for movies...

If with 3D iso playback I would suggest Egreat R6s. Im using this as my main media player. You can also consider Egreat R300. These have the newest Realtek chip and the only chip available for now which can play 3D iso...

Thanks Louie for the immediate reply. Regarding chips, which is better? Been reading as much as I can and getting confused about them. Which is better, sigma or realtek? Or better yet, what is the advantage of one over the other?

No problem sir :)

Based from my experience Sigma based NMT's have slight advantage in PQ and performance, e.g. Faster boot time, response, etc. compared to Realtek based NMT's. Also Sigma based especially the current chips have full bluray menu support. Down side with Sigma right now is they dont have support for bluray 3D iso. But Sigma 8911 is just around the corner which will support 3D iso :)

Eto din hinihintay ko ;D

But Realtek 1186 chips are ok too. Im very satisfied with Egreat R6s... Also not that expensive ;)

Very informative, thank you. Was considering Dune or popcorh hour but not really that informed yet. I wish to get one that would more or less future proof for at least 5 years man lang.
Would you suggest i wait for the c400?

One more thing that confuses me, di ba you need a 1.4 hdmi for 3d? How come some players still use 1.3 hdmi? Haaay nakakalito.....

For future proofing might as well wait for the PCH C400 or the Dune HD Pro. But there are infos that the upcoming Sigma chips might be affected by Cinavia. Parang licensing or digital rights thing to combat piracy...

Not really... As far as I know sa mga bluray players palang ito. Sana they will find a work around para yung mga BD downloads hindi maapektuhan :)

Thanks for the info, that should buy me sometime to save up... Looks expensive kasi.
