Bro, this is highly unlikely.
8-bit = 2^8 = 256 colors
16-bit = 2^16 = 65536 or 65K colors
24-bit = 2^24 = 16 million colors
32-bit = 2^32 = 4 billion colors
8-bit means the screen is capable of displaying 256 colors only, which is very low on today's standard. The monitors from 20 years ago are already like this. If you display a rich content on 256 colors, you would see a dull and washed out picture.
If this Myview panel is able to display rich colors, then it must be higher than 256 colors.
I think today's standard is at least 24-bit or 16M colors.
