help mga R6S owners.

i recently noticed a problem when playing BD ISO files with multiple audio formats. it defaults to the 1st audio format when playing. unfortunately all my ISO files have Stereo or AC3 as the 1st audio and HD audio as second. i have to set the audio everytime to HD. but if the movie has only a single audio file, no problem naman.

want to hear from owners if there are some tricks to make the HD audio a default settings.

is there a software to remove the other audio formats on BD ISO's? sa mkv madali lang using mkvmerge.

mga pards, up to ilang TB ang kaya isupport ng R6? I am thinking of consolidating all my HDDs into 1 4TB hdd. dami kasi nakasaksak as all of them are not portable HDD. thanks.

Comparing with PCH na Sigma based, ang R6s mostly ng BDMV or iso files hindi na mapeplay ang movie with the bluray menu...(mostly ng concerts na nasubukan ko kaya ng R6s with menu)

Other than that I can't see any weakness anymore

2. kapag ang bd iso ay may multiple audio format encoded, it will.play the 1st audio file by default. in my case it will play PCM, stereo.or AC3 audio kasi 2nd audio format ang DTS/Dolby HD.  a bit disappointing.
3. di ako marunong how to disable the subtitles permanently sa settings. i have.to disable it everytime i play a movie.

yon lang ang complaints ko but other than that okay naman as it plays all the files that i throw in.

I have tried some 10bit anime, others sound lang while for some a few seconds of video then wala na. Tried this also with the pch di kaya pero sa computer no issues.

1.  When I used an R300S last December, I also didnt get the point of having a choice between playing with or without navigation. I think I've posted that it also hanged on me on Full BDs (but not on 3DBD - pero no difference between with and without nav).  Anyway, I know that Realtek can't handle BD-Java properly, which is the gist of Full BD Nav pero that's OK as long as the player can do Simple BD Mode - in which case, ang limitation would be if the Full BD has seamless branching or not.

2.   Ganun yata talaga ang default ng most players (hardware and software) and majority of Full BDs have HD audiostream as the first stream anyways.   Sa concerts lang minsan na PCM or DD5.1 ang first stream then HD-audio sa ilalim.  Pero if you can manage to get into the Menu (yeah many concert BDs dont have BD-J and are OK), just set the Audio to DTS-HD or TrueHD whichever is available.

3.   I personally dont like subs (except if it's a foreign movie of course), but my wife likes them a lot so I really cant complain.  Hehehe.  Among my friends and families, it's right in the middle as regards enabling or disabling subs while watching.  So to be fair, it's important na fully supported all formats (SRT, PGS especially because this is what they use sa Remux, VOB, ASS).

10-bit - Yeah it's for xrampage's HTPC.  Buti nalang I dont watch anime.  hehehe.  But sometimes, some brilliant encoders release 10-bit encodes of very huge titles and the only thing I can do with my NMTs is to sniff it.  hahaha.

Yung mga mahilig sa X-rated,  MOV, MP4, WMV, AVI with AAC - perfectly working?

Last December, I connected the R300S derecho sa TV and DTS-HDMA was properly downmixed to stereo kaya pinanood ng mother-in-law ko yung Titanic and One Direction BDs among others - hehehe. OKs din eto sa R6S ne?   This is important kapag big gathering ng family and you have to make everyone watch and listen to an HDTV alone.  But I forgot if I was able to test any TrueHD downmix to stereo.

Btw, using an rs6 and wd elements...will try and transfer the file to another usb drive and see what happens.

try just the same,  or swap the port used.  and if you suspect the file, kindly plug your disk and do a scandisk, after use ulit sa NMT.

Im done transferring the files,and connected it to my egreat R6- nag-I-stutter yung movies. I tried the same file sa isang HDD ko ( Astone USB2.0 2TB), ok naman sya.

Then I tried to hook up the Seagte HDD sa TV, he TV played it perfectly.

What's wrong? has anyone encountered this before? Hanshake issue ng uSB3?

yung 80% plugging of a USB 3.0 HDD will work if detection of the device is the concern.

it seems anchit has plugged the external HDD and was detected naman, i've had some reports na pag Seagate external stutter issue. is it Seagate bro?

Yes sir Seagate nga, I have other 3 SDDs pero walang probelma ( 2TB na Bufallo, 1 TB na astone  and 1tb na WD). sinuksok ko na din ng todo pero ganun talaga.

ok lang din at least nalaman ko agad para iwasan ang Seagate hehe yung may ari naman is isasaksak lang sa TV directly so there should be no issue excepts sa mga hindi madedecode ng tv nya.

Suspect ko isolated to seagate externals and how it buffers to "achieve" 5200RPM.  I never had problems with seagate internal HDD with enclosure.

i tried nga my sister's 1TB seagate with the r6a-ii.. stutter nga talaga.

would you know if transcend 1TB na shockproof works ok?
