i tried nga my sister's 1TB seagate with the r6a-ii.. stutter nga talaga.

would you know if transcend 1TB na shockproof works ok?

best you try it out. dati I borrowed one Transcend but not sure if its same as yours. load a fat remux file, yung fast paced (FF7 comes to mind), or this very file you have stutter with, as your test file.

iwas ka na sir sa Seagate, was able to test a Seagate Backup Plus 1TB (model SRD0SP0).. one of their latest external drives which uses USB 3.0, nag stutter talaga.

ako, kung di ko need portable, i'd go for the trusted bulk of a 3.5" internal HDD, tapos bili ka ng enclosure (wag na Mediasonic probox , kahit yung mga enclosure from Astone from annot, meron pang fan yun) .

over 1 year na astone 3.5" USB 3.0 enclosure ko ko sa mom's ko eh buhay pa. swap lang ako ng swap ng disk pag napadalaw. Seagate 3.5" internal disks na pinaglumaan ko ayos na.

3 ang 3tb seagate external hard drive ko, im also using r6a-ii and r6s no problems whatsoever

Hi. what's your loaded firmware date? have you isolated with other files that do top to bottom? Curious also if there's a reason why top to bottom is preferred?

top bottom lang kasi yung nahanap kong version. it's not a preference. i'm using a custom firmware now, but the original firmware di din kaya.

For the cover art mode, single level of folder lang ang depth ng display niya?  E.g

c:\Movies\Iron Man 1
             \Iron Man 2
             \Iron Man 3

My folders goes down to 2 sub-level.
c:\Movie Series\Iron Man\Iron Man1
                                  \Iron Man2
                                  \Iron Man3

If I'm at c:\Movie Series folder, I think cover/poster art mode does not work.  I have to go down to c:\Movie Series\Iron Man.  Am I doing something wrong?

coverart works for 1185 chip (R6A-ii , R180) and yes single level only.it specifically looks for cover.jpg per folder.
posterart works the same way, but looks for poster.jpg

from egreat wala pa since last release. i've seen some custom pero wont advise due to warranty.

Hi Philip, it should work, i used 4 x 1TB sa mediasonic proraid (as 1 4TB) ok naman.. but am interested to hear sa mga 4TB owners

Bro Gav, have you tried using your PJ to process the Top/Bottom 3D file movie?
Try playing the file on your R6s without any 3D processing then let your PJ do the conversion...

yes 2 partitions of 2 TB each. it will be seen as 2 drives C: D: under USB.

The few i tried are WD, cant recall the model. pero its powered USB external.

I do shy from USB external kasi unlike before the disks are exactly just 3.5" SATA HDD in an enclosure. Kasi, from what I've been reading, most of the newer drives with enclosure (2.5" or 3.5") you can no longer do that since the SATA data and power connectors wont fit.

I think along the lines that if the enclosure breaks, i can still get my disk from inside.

ito yung sinasabi ko na test ko disk 4 bay(JBOD configured) x 3TB. = 12TB, kita yan ng R6A-ii and R6S plus pro   So the media player , in a nutshell, when a 16TB disk even comes out, would be able to see it.

totoo. kaya ako yung mga luma kong 2.5" disks USB 2.0 lipat sa USB 3.0 enclosure. life's too short to wait on USB 2.0
