51E450 or <>
« on: Nov 27, 2012 at 05:53 PM »
Hello Sirs,

Nakabili ako nung weekend ng 51E450. So far happy naman ako sa size (good thing ay 50 sya) but if I will extend my budget, let say additional 5K, ano po kaya ang best option pa dito? Smart TV, 3D? not sure kung meron within that price range or same level but with additional features?

out of stock kasi ang 50x50 nung weekend kaya yan ung nakuha ko :)

Be happy with that, its a good entry level Plasma you have. Pause thinking and appreciate that big TV for now, calibrate the settings and play your HD materials with it.

Tama sila sir.

Ok ang TV mo sir.  Ang next upgrade should be a 1080p for core performance, tapos add-ons na lang ang Smart functions and 3D if you really want them.  Pero biglang lundag ang presyo niyan sir.

Suggestion ko, don't upgrade yet, just use the TV for about 3 years before upgrading.  By that time, baka 30K na lang ang Smart 3D plasma 1080p 50 incher, at mas magaling pa ang core performance vs today's 2012 models.

Salamat mga sir.. na try ko kasi ang 3D and Smart Features, parang mas cool. Though I know di ko naman sya magagamit everytime manonood ako ng TV, I think you're right, stay muna ako dito, then upgrade nalang in in 2-3 years :)

Thanks po sa mga inputs. :)

sorry if it would seem that i hi-jacked the thread...but in connection perhaps to the TS question..instead of an upgrade, what are other alternatives in the market with the same size and price range that performs better or at par with the 51e450...especially when it would be used to play 720p movies out of a nmt, gaming (ps3), and a little bit of tv viewing...

Tama ka naman. Pero para saan pa may nabili na sya. But to answer his question. The closest one is the Panasonic 50X50 Plasma. Almost the same features and functionality. For the budget, you cant go wrong with either of the two. Difference is not noticeable or negligeable. Although I know Samsung provides better media format support through its usb

Yes, mas cool talaga --- for a few weeks...  :D

Magsasawa ka rin agad sa features na yon sir.

Wala sir, yan na na nga ang the best in its class this year.

There are only 3 plasma makers: Panny, Sammy and LG.  For the 50 inch budget category for plasma, the best na ang Sammy 51E450:

Yep, yung friend ko nakabili nga ng Smart TV never pa daw nya nagamit yung feature. best deal na din talaga, considering sa Mall 46K at nakuha ko sya ng almost 35-40% off sa SnS :)

Kudos sa Salesman ng SnS, very accomodating sila, at mataygang mag explain sa newbie na tulad ko :)

Best advise! Thanks sir since this is the model I am planning to get also before the year ends.
