Nice set up, sa Jubail ba yan sir?

Nakatsamba ko nito sa isang indian friend from Dammam, bininta ng biglaan yung buong package kasi nagka financial problem sa hospital expenses ng asawa. Got it for almost 25 % of his acquisition costs.

For lively music maganda ang naim w/ neats. For vocals, harbeth talaga. Hindi ko pa nasubukan imatch yung primaluna sa harbeths. Ok din nman ang primaluna w/ proacs for now...

Thanks bro. I guess the advantage there is more people sell used high end gears at a fraction of the cost. Or probably you are one very lucky guy. Congrats!

Today, as it is a Friday and no work in this part of the world, I had the time to open up my long kept-in-the-box Epos M12i to compare with the Neat Motives 2SE. This is how the shoot-out looks like.

Epos M12i now out of the box, most of the time hidden at the sides.

Jackpot nga eh!

System specs:
NAC 202 preamp with NAPSC power supply
NAP 200 poweramp with Hicap power supply
CD5X cd player with Flatcap2x power supply
-all with separate power supplies
Neat Motives 2SE speakers
Naim Fraim Rack
Hiline Interconnect
NACA5 speaker cables.

As you can see the Naim Logos on the preamp and Flatcap2x have dimmed LED's. The previous owner, being a very active member in the Naim Forum, was sent by Naim new replacement logo LED's integrated with PCB's for free. That is for both the NAP and Flatcap. He also gave these LEDs to me so I can change them if ever I need/want to.

That's how serious they are for their products & customers. Service is world famous.

Keep it. Don't be like me hahaha...seriously though had I not re-oriented to hard to drive speakers I wouldn't have sold that baby. It's so musical with my Celestions and my Cary Tube CDP. Simple two box set up but very good.

Malupit yang NAIM system mo sir. Good thing you got the entire kaboodle as Naims are designed to work as a system including the rack. Word has it that the components DO NOT sound it's best when not used with each other. You are one of the very few that I know who has a complete Naim system.

Yes, they were designed essentially to work as a system. But I guess their new entry level models are designed to match other brands as well now. I know some using only the integrated amp with other CD players.

They're also recommended to be powered "on" 24/7. So, here, I don't shut them down, except when I'm leaving for a long time.

Very nice.  Congrats.  Neat with Naim, I heard that is a very good combo.  Neat is one of those British brands I wish was available locally.
