Ginagamit yun kapag flag raising ceremonies.

It's like a preamp in a stereo system. Though with a prepro (Anthem Statement D2V 3D), it receives the signals (analog and digital), process it to be fed sa power amp. Simply put, it's like a receiver without the amplification.

The same function as Bryston SP3, Classe CT-SSP, Mcintosh MX121, Arcam AV888, Marantz AV 8801 and Onkyo SC5509, all are AV pre processor. Basically you have to pair it with separate power amp like my Anthem Statement A5 5-channel because it doesn't have a built-in power amp.

Unang kabit ng HDMI, walang handshake! Very nice indeed.
PQ is really topnotch out of the box!
Very very quiet, no additional noise in my already low noise floor.
Tried to update the software and firmware, but I have to buy a separate usb to 9 pin serial cable to connect my laptop..haayyyss. It is really required because of the ARC, too. Anthem should include this adaptor in the package. But its okay, not a deal breaker.

hehehe..uuwi ako ng December but the gears...maybe few years pa pag nag stop ako mag abroad, uuwi ko lahat ng new gears ko, pwera lang pag tumama ako sa lotto, bukas nandyan na ako

Yes you are right, av receiver is a one box solution which most people like. Separates has an advantage if you want to replace the processor only which is very dynamic in nature due to advancing technologies. Performance wise, imho, separates rules but with a price.
