Hi guys,

Is anyone projecting this on a 10feet viewing distance. What's the screen size that you got? And hindi ba sobra ang hot-spot since malapit?

Thanks

I'm getting a 70-72" diagonal image (16:9 ratio) on the free 70x70 1:1 tripod screen. I'm not sure how far my viewing distance is. 10-12 feet ata.

Hi bro, mine is around 9 feet away, i measured the picture at 1.2 zoom, its 77x34 inches ata. Imo the 1.2 zoom look the best sa 2.40:1 movies. Pag masyado zoom ang pangit. Pero I will try measuring it again later. Btw, yun 77x34, Is this close to 90 inches diagonal? On the manual kasi it says 200cm x 113cm is 90 inches diagonal. confirm ko ulit later. Im trying to get the full 100 inches, hindi puede pala at my distance. This is not a short throw pj pala. Pag zoom ko ng 1.2 i cant read the subtitles properly on orig bd player/disc. Ganun ba talaga? Am i doing something wrong here kasi i want to maximize the screen size. Ty.

looking at the projector central calculator kse, my worry is off na sya sa "green zone". so im worried if it will be "too bright".  :P

Congrats! Keep us posted kung ano mismo ang ginawa nila.

Di naman. Mas-bright pa din ang mga LED-TVs. Hot spot ang major concern sa PJs pero for my untrained eye, wala naman akong nakita so I'd like to keep it that way. :D

Finally found a cons for this projector.

I'm not familiar with 3Ds but hindi kaya ang player ang problem?

Im using htpc.

Ok sir sure, I'm out of town now, will do it on Sunday. Last night I tested it and the best zoom for me from 9 feet away is 1.2 up to 1.4x. Sa 1.4 I'm losing details na. Pq really suffering. Pero Sa 1.4x I think nasa 90 inch diagonal

Ok thanks sir, will do some studying hehe. Pero 9 ft na ata max ko I have a small room. I have pa a tv behind it. Pero happy naman Ako so far hehe. No regrets so far on this, but I have to try what sir Alvin is saying as flickering

Not possible sir, ung PJ ko kc nakaceiling mount na, madali tanggalin pero mahirap e-set up pabalik sa mount since walang lens shift.

I got my pj back. they claim that they checked it and no issues were found and it was working stable. I used it last night to watch F1, no sudden shutdowns encountered.  :)

maybe. I guess I have to pick a good power socket and use a surge protector/ line conditioner with my pj.

Pwede naman directly mo e-paint ung SF sa wall as long as very smooth ung wall texture, sa AVSforum some members were already doing direct wall painting using SFv2.5
Light gray ung sakin. You could do darker versions but you need to add more reflective base paints (rustoleum & silver) para ung whites nya hindi affected and the screen gain is maintained.

Why not use a UPS with built in conditioning circuit?

Dalawahin ang UPS!!!

Wala bang topic dito re UPS? I have some issues kasi.

We all know for a fact that we only use UPS for our PJ because in the event na mawalan ng electricity, we still have time to turn off our PJ. But question is, kung yun switching time ba ng UPS from outlet to back-up is enough para hindi mag-off yun PJ? Kasi kapag mabagal ito, it's good as walang silbi ang UPS natin for our PJ. Have you tried unplugging your UPS while using it to test if it can handle the switching effectively?

Tested it by unplugging, more than enough time to shut it down IIRC 10 minutes bago ko shut down yung PJ. :)

using an APC UPS dun sa kabebenta ko lang na PJ and there were several times na nag brown out and the UPS served its purpose. Namatay yung ibang gears except for the PJ. Yun lang after mga 2 years you should start checking kasi baka yung back-up battery needs replacement na and not functioning as desired. What I do is plug a different non-sensitive gear to test. Iba din kasi to test if mayron equivalent load yung UPS.

Planning to get one for the office?
