May mga budget ang scalpers bro.. Naalala ko nung may nagbigay sakin ng bingo tickets sa world trade worth 2k each.. Di ko malalaro lahat dahil 25 ung binigay sakin, may lumapit samin kung may sobra ko sabi ko una wala, then inoferran 1.8 per ticket, binenta ko ung 20 tickets, In short, ganun kadami pera nila.. Then pumunta ko sa gateway sakto may event sa araneta, nakita ko sila ulet tinanong kung may ticket sabay ngite, naalala pa pla ko.. Haha.. Sa cuneta astrodome, sila sila rin.. For me its ok, di naman sila nagnanakaw..

Para matuto mga reseller na yan, sana mangyari sa day of the event mismo, sabihin bigla ng Nike/MOA management "Ok no need for tickets anymore, free entrance to MOA for anyone who wants to watch Lebron." Hindi naman magkaka stampede yan kasi may guards at queues naman sa MOA, na pwede mag sort out ng pila ng mga taong pupunta.

I'm not an LBJ fan so definitely I'm not watching, pero nakakabwiset yung ginawa nila. Malamang yan next time na may pupunta na NBA star, may bayad na yung tickets dahil sa ngyaring ganyan.

i don't think anyone is questioning their ownership of the free tickets. what most of us are saying is that selling it for a profit is frowned upon. hindi bawal.

lalo na kung mga scalpers talaga and for profiteering lang talaga (non-LBJ fans who don't intend to actually watch but merely to sell the free tickets), yan ang pangit.

ok ganito, yung mga fans na pumila at may sobrang tickets, let's say sabihin ng fan na di nakakuha, "o sir, sagutin ko na yung gastos sa parking mo and food mo, akin na lang yung extra ticket" - yan, pwede naman na siguro dba?

wag mo sabihin papabayaran din pati effort eh kusang loob ka naman pumila para sa sarili mo kasi kukuha ka din naman talaga ng ticket.

ang di lang maganda yung paghahangad na makaisa i.e. kumita sa isang bagay na libre lang naman. and I'm not pointing out specific people here ha. In general yan. Yung tulad ng mga nasa sulit. Gen Ad tickets for 2.5k each. Lowest ko nakita 1.8k for a gen add. Anak ng tokwa. Tapos may tagline pa na "Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime event!". dinaig pa ang Nike.

I'm not an LBJ fan, I'm not bitter that I don't have a ticket. I'm just dismayed about how it turned out.

May mga situations din naman na ok may nagbebenta to give opportunity for fans who could/would not line up. There are also fans based outside manila who would want to watch so instead of them coming here paying for pamasahe baka mag hotel pa sa sulit nalang bibili para sa event nalang pupunta. Mga taga Visayas/Mindanao din. Hell If I were an LBJ fanatic I would pay that 3k rather than wait in line for more than 12hours.

We can actually justify our actions as much as we want. But we will always deprive the same opportunity from others. Pano naman yun mga naka pila na can't afford the 3k. I'm sure meron din nakapila na eto lang yun opportunity to see Lebron for free. Kasi if tickets are going to be sold, hindi na sila pipila.

• A team on offense will lose possession if its player leaves the floor and does not immediately return to the floor, unless he is injured, attempting to save the ball or in other extenuating circumstances.

Each of these rules was recommended by the NBA's Competition Committee at its meeting on June 12.

Magulo talaga sir. If it were just up to me dapat binenta nalang yan. I see a huge security risk at the event. Sana hindi maging rowdy and crowd at masisira pa ang pangalan ng pilipinas. Imagine if something bad would happen and then all those planned events would be cancelled. (pre season game HOUvsIND) etc.

And for those who have extra tickets I don't see anyone giving those out for free not unless there's a vested interest like kapatid ng babaeng pinopormahan ko. or the like.

Hahaha. Actually kung ibebenta nya at more than P3,000 gagastusin ko, hindi ko rin kukunin. What? Just to see Lebron James? I'd rather pay for a real game like the Houston Pacers. The last time I spent for the Kobe Bryant NBA All Star vs PBA was I guess P5,000 for both of us na. Yun pwede kasi ang daming NBA stars. Sulit talaga. I think his best fit would be the Grizzlies or the Thunder.

Hindi na siya maging overpaid since Miami will be paying. If any team signs him for let's say min contract of 1M that will be deducted from his current contract and Miami pays for the rest. (that's how I understand it)

You are correct. Since Miller did not get a bid from teams and cleared waivers, nobody will pay him more than the veteran's minimum. And for the number of years he has played in the NBA, that would translate to about $1.6M a season. Since he still has a 2 year contract with Miami, the Heat has to pay for the remaining balance.

You are also correct that the minimum time for Miller to go back to Miami is 2 years.

Thank you. And I think he could have negotiated the terms of his contract to accept lesser pay. But he already has rings and 12M is too much to leave behind especially that it surely is his last major contract.

I saw one of the Spurs summer league games. That Baynes guy looks promising. I think he had like 16 pts ans 15 rebs. I believe he's Australian. Where do the Spurs find these good players? Hahahaha!
