One of my favorite moments in the Lebron show yesterday was that Kobe dunk on the King.  Not Kobe Bean but Kobe Paras.  Lebron kinda challenged Kobe and Kobe just soared high and made a slammer over LBJ ;D Crowd roared and look at the reaction of Kobe while the Arena was cheering him, chestbumping and giving high fives to his teammates.  Galing!

Nice!  Andito rin yun no look pass ni Kiefer kay LBJ.  Lebron practically did everything, except win the game.  Lebron missed his last two potential game winners.  Hahaha.  Typical LBJ ba?  Hahaha. My son and my nephew had a great time indeed.  Thank you Nike for the free tickets.

If there's one thing Smart Gilas proved to the whole world is that they have the answer on how to defend Lebron = GIVE HIM A SMALL UNIFORM.   ::)

Mike Miller to the Grizzlies

http://nba.si.com/2013/07/24/mike-miller-memphis-grizzlies-agreement-contract-sign-miami-heat/?sct=nba_t2_a2

back to Grizzlies siya. the Grizz' will benefit from his outside shooting. but what they really need is a go-to-instant-offense-guy. it was evident vs. the spurs last conf. finals.

They had that with Rudy Gay. Pero ayaw gumastos e. so vet minimum lang babayaran nila. Miller is the best choice for their need.

kobe dunks over lbj http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/sports/07/25/13/watch-kobe-paras-dunks-lebron-james

Yeah, I saw this and we erupted in our seats when Kobe did that.  Natuwa ako sa reaction ni Kobe after.  Tuwang tuwa yun bata.  He will remember that for the rest of his life.

On other news, sorry it's not Lebron who's the best player in the league now.  It's Derrick Rose, says Derrick Rose :  http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/22887582/derrick-rose-says-hes-the-best-player-in-the-nba

They really need shooters. I think they should also try to get turk if he wants a vet min.

http://ph.nba.com/news-article/1607/video-interview-with-james-harden#.UfH6u1OBMb1

Here's James Harden who seemed disinterested and a little bit peeved with the questions thrown at him.  Quite an awful interview really.  "You're game is quite good."??? Hello, what was that?  And next time a foreigner asks "How are you?" after you greet him "how are you", you don't have to answer back dude!!

Ano yan, screening pa lang ba? If that's their pool of talent, I think USA is looking at another bronze finish.

I read that Love and Durant have committed for 2016 though, so I'm guessing parang "try outs" lang yan.

^^Try out lang yan. Most of them won't make the final cut.

Quote
And that's because roster spots, even for Spain next summer, are already dwindling away. London 2012 Olympians Kevin Durant and Kevin Love have already committed to play in 2014, with Durant announcing Wednesday that he expects Russell Westbrook and James Harden to follow suit. Colangelo, meanwhile, said in an NBA TV interview during Thursday's action that the number of 2012ers on the World Cup roster could rise as high as six, which doesn't even account for (A) the fact that there will have to be an injection of size eventually and (B) three more resting/rehabbing stars that have to be considered top-flight contenders.

That would be Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard and, of course, Derrick Rose.

The competition is so fierce -- with available talent running so deep now that playing for Team USA has been fully restored to ultimate-honor status for Americans in the NBA --that it's hard to see how more than three or four of the current campers can possibly break through. Krzyzewski and Colangelo nonetheless spent much of the week trying to convince anyone who would listen that a list of 25-28 finalists for the World Cup roster won't be drawn up until January at the earliest.

"We're not going to make any judgments tonight on guys," Krzyzewski said.
