True... Most of those who started hot or surprise teams are cooling off now. PHX, DAL, POR, GSW are struggling

True they are also playing well but like Portland, I still doubt their chances in the playoffs against the top 4 in the west.

^Me laban ang Clips-Warriors bukas, potential preview ng playoff matchup sa 1st RD.

Mahirap talunin ang top 4 teams sa West, but I like the Warriors chances for an upset mainly because they're top 3 in the league in defensive efficiency (behind Indiana and Chicago) and their offense and bench scoring is slowly catching up to the defense. Plus I'm a biased fan as well.  ;D

Ang dami palang 'action' sa OKC-HOU game. Di pa rin napapatawad ni Westbrook si Beverley.  A possible riveting 2nd rd. matchup

Both GSW and Portland don't have enough fire power to go deep into the playoffs.
Actually I will still give GSW a chance if only they have a healthy Andrew Bogut and the Andrea Igoudala of the past but Bogut can't recover fully from his injury and Igoudala isn't playing well offensively.

Grizz are always overlooked. Since they are a small market team with no superstars. But if you look at their composition they are a well balanced team and very disciplined. I didn't like that they let coach Hollins go but they are a better team now compared to last year with the addition of Lee and Mike Miller.

Ang ganda sana ng last play ng Heat kanina, na sundot lang 'yung bola, ang luwag sana going to the basket kung hindi nasundot. Pero wide open din si J. Shuttlesworth kung sa kanya ipinasa 'yung bola. Sayang!  :D

Go Heat!

Talo ang GS. Bench scoring didn't show up. Meanwhile the Clips had 18 bench pts from Granger for their 9th straight win.

That's interesting how he will transform the Knicks into a Champion team once once.
Will he stick with Melo and who will he tap to call the shots?

Yeah, if Phil's not coaching, he just needs to revamp the Knicks. Total overhaul na lang. Remove all the rotten tomatoes.

Kasi kung si Phil magcocoach, pwede nya pang mahasa yan si Melo and surround him with the right pieces. But since Basketball operations yung tutok nya, overhaul and get the right guys who really want to play for the Knicks. Although hard sell talaga yung New York e. Kelangan huge $$$ kasi panget yung weather + high cost of living. haha

nabasa ko somewhere before that moot yung point na extra year compensation a free agent gets with the their team to transfer to a team like the Knicks & L.A. Lakers/Clippers kasi you'll more than make up for it in other areas that both teams provides

Endorsements will only come if you're winning. What good is a so-called big market kung palagi namang kulelat yung team mo?

Ang lamig lamig na nga, mataas pa ang tax so kelangan madaming pera to keep them warm. :D

Kung panay big market lang yung pang-entice nila, parang di naman ganun ka enticing unless they promise a new winning tradition. Tingnan nyo si Dwight Howard, ang ganda na ng weather sa LA and big market+lots of opportunities in Hollywood pero hindi dumating yung big endorsements kasi talunan. Ayun, namili ng team na malaki chance to win it all para kahit di masiyadong big market, mababa naman tax+cost of living+mas madami endorsement opportunities.

^ I really don't believe in Big Market small market thing, my fave team has been in playoffs for the last decade, muntik pa makaisa last year.. cguro perception na lang ng ibang players that they have a bigger chance to win if they play sa big market, same goes to UAAP dito satin.. for Howard, I think di nya kinaya ang pressure sa LA..

Well, oo isa na din yung pressure siguro for Howard. He doesn't have the serious mentality needed for that championship drive. Kasi kahit si Shaq eh happy-go-lucky, pag seryoso na, talagang seryoso na. Si Howard, clown pa din kahit seryoso na.

haha

Actually big market teams have more potential income-wise than smaller market teams.  While winning surely helps, it's not the deciding factor in the overall scheme of things.  Kahit talunan, New York still offers more potential income for a player.  Mas marami pa rin television exposure ang Knicks kahit talunan compared to smaller market teams.  Mas marami pa rin nationally televised games equal to more national exposure.  So kahit talunan yun team, mas sisikat ka not only in the US, but around the world.  So mas malawak ang exposure mo sa buong mundo...mas kilala ka...more endorsement potential.  Marami din opportunities to be connected sa Showbiz.  NY probably only comes second to LA when you want to enter or start an entertainment company and guest star in TV series and movies...another avenue for more exposure.

Then ang Knicks are one of the richest teams in the league sa Forbes list.  More connections and job opportunities even after your playing days.

The only player I hope the Knicks will keep is Hardaway Jr should PhilJax revamp the Knicks for next season.
Trade away Melo, he's a one man jump shooting show, he can't play much team ball.
