pacers right now need a leader, it looks like PG24 isn't ready yet. they probably miss Granger right now.

Nice win by the Nets, actually I like them better on the 4th seed so they can set up a semis series against the Heat.
Team chemistry is definitely very good with the current roster despite injuries to Brook Lopez and KG.
Jason Kidd should atleast be nominated as Coach of the Year together with fellow rookie coach Jeff Hornacek.

For the East Final 4
Heat vs Nets
Pacers vs Bulls

For the West Final 4
Spurs vs Rockets
OKC vs Clippers

IMO, no way in hell should Kidd be nominated for COY ....... kudos for the recovery, but overall its still has been a mildy disappointing season for the loaded NETS.

Far more worthier candidates than Kidd ...... Hornacek (concensus top candidate), Casey (best RAPTORS in quite a long time), Thibs (no Rose, no Deng, inept Boozer, BULLS still contenders), Stotts (Aldridge, Lillard & mid-tier pros, TBLAZERS one time leading the West), Joerger (GRIZZLIES still elite defense, despite losing Gasol for a long time), etc ...... I'd even nominate Brooks & Pops, who has been absolutely masterful despite long injuries to elite PG's like Westbrook & Parker.

I actually have high hopes Jeff Hornacek for Coach of the Year.  I think he is seriously ahead among his peers.

Pops should win every year, but I think Hornacek will win it.

No doubt Hornacek deserves the COY but Kidd also deserve to be nominated.
Remember some even predicted he'll be fired before Christmas last year when the Nets were really struggling with the acquisitions of a veteran crew from the Celtics at the start of the season?
Through a little time and patience Kidd has molded the Nets into a competitive playoff team by taming Deron Williams, resurrect the all stars in Johnson and Pierce, revived the career of Livingston, installed confidence into Blatche and he has done all that w/o his prized center Brook Lopez and Garnett.

Knick now on 8th seed in the east. Mukhang may impact un presence of Philjax as President as they are moving the ball well and playing inspired basketball.

Kidd named Coach of the month for March.

Btw does the Spurs own the longest winning streak by any team so far this season?
There next game against OKC will be fun to watch if they can make it 20 in a row.

Hard to tell from this angle. Tough luck for the Mavs.

Should be a good one tomorrow: SAS vs. OKC. But it's going to be the second game of a back-to-back for the Spurs. Baka magka-topak na naman si Coach Pop with his DNP-CDs. :)

Mukhang goaltend nga, but that's really tough to call in a live game.

The Mavs were a beneficiary of a bad call late in the game against the Twolves earlier this year,  so it just evens out.

wala naman talaga reversal yun kahit admitted na mali yung officiating. ilang beses na nangyari yun. final na yung score always.

It doesn't really mean anything when NBA admits to bad officiating. it's merely damage control for the image of refs.

And when the call is really really bad, like this one, they don't even admit to anything.

EDIT: Another missed call benefiting the Mavs that the NBA admitted to - NBA: Missed call in Pelicans-Mavs

I like the NBA's policy of reviewing blown/missed calls ....... it is part damage control, but it's better than nothing at all.

Even Mark Cuban, easily the most vocal critic of NBA officials and officiating, has applauded what the NBA has been trying to do recently.

As for that Jermaine O'Neal "block", I'd give the refs a pass on that one ...... it was very close on some angles of the slomo replay; cant imagine the difficulty to judge it as it happens live.

Maybe someday the NBA can implement a challenge-rule of sorts, for some scenarios ....... maybe give teams, 1 challenge per game - so obviously coaches will opt to use it on crucial spots, say a tight Q4 or OT.

A very tight race and probably one of the best in recent years. Who's going to take the last 2 spots in the West when 3 teams are tied. Mavs, Grizzlies and Suns.

Who's your bet? I want the Grizz and Suns

Yes but they wont make it did even the 1st round against SAS o OKC.
With the Mavs and Grizz, mas maganda un series for us to watch at bka makasilat pa sila since both are veteran teams.

I like the chances of Dallas and Memphis right now. Natalo pa ng Dallas ang Clips, next two games namin easy stretch na. (Masabi ako ng "namin" eh noh? Haha)

Here are the remaining games for the other contenders (Mem, PHX)

Toughest stretch and Suns.

The Twolves just got mathematically eliminated from the playoffs on the night that they defeated the Heat in 2OT.   :o

Panalo lahat ang DAL, PHX, MEM at GS. Ang higpit ng playoff race.

Pacers still sliding....

If the Suns miss out in the WC playoff race, the Toronto Raptors' coach, Dwane Casey, could bag the Coach of the Year award instead of Jeff Hornacek. What he's done for the Raptors this year, given the personnel they have, is impressive. I know it's the East, but still quite an achievement.
