@The Works,

Bro, pahiram naman nung name nung nasa GIF mo ngayon, for research purposes. Haha

BTT, Embiid finally decides to join this year's draft. His stock took a huge hit when it was found out that he had a bad back. Still top 5, IMO but still a high-risk pick. Si Randle naman quick to deny reports na he is going pro. But at this point, it's a no-brainer for him to go pro. Jabari na lang wala pang decision since Wiggins, Embiid, Smart, Exum and most likely Randle are going pro na.

Western Conference Playoffs race:

Mavs - 48-31
Remaining games: vs Spurs, vs Suns, @Grizzlies

Suns - 47-31
Remaining games: @Spurs, @Mavs, vs Grizzlies, @Kings

Grizzlies - 46-32
Remaining games: vs Sixers, @Lakers, @Suns, vs Mavs

Ang tindi! may games against each other pa yung tatlong teams na yan so talagang down to the wire ang playoffs race sa West.

I think that Embiid is clearly the best prospect in this year's draft, unless team doctors give him a serious red flag right before the draft. Andami rin kasing question mark ng ibang top prospect.

The Bobcats just beat the Wizards to steal the 6th seed in the east. They have the tiebreaker over the Wiz if they ever they end up identical records. They're peaking at the right time and maybe they won't have to face the Heat in the 1st rd anymore. Al Jeff for All-NBA 3rd team?

Cavs officially eliminated.

Is that you, Joakim?  ;D

What's even crazier is the records of these three teams which are battling to make the playoffs in the West are good enough to bag the 3rd seed in the East  :o  Toronto (3rd) and Chicago (4th) both have 46-32 records as of today.

Sobrang underrated.

I've grown reluctant about top prospect Centers. Most of them never really pan out as good players or if they do, they are most likely injury-prone. Intriguing talaga itong si Embiid but after that back injury, instant red flag for me yan. Delikado na. I'd rather take Wiggins. He gets criticized for not having the "motor" but there was one ESPN article which detailed that it's Wiggins' personality na hindi siya maangas like most stars are. Maybe he'll find his inner killer/beast mode if he gains more confidence.

For me, it's Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, Exum, Randle, Smart, Gordon as my lock top 7.

As for the Bobcats, hopefully they grow more as a team. Impressed ako kay Al Jeff. Beast mode siya. Nanghinayang ako that I traded him sa fantasy league ko for D-Whistle early in the season nung di pa nagpick up game nya. Oh well. haha

Next game ng Spurs is against the Suns, i think. They beat the Mavs today. Will they also beat the Suns? If they do, the Mavs vs Suns game will be super intense for sure! haha

Talo pa ang GS, they only needed one more win to clinch a playoff spot. Spoiled by a last second shot by the Manimal.

Statline ni Mozgov!  ;D

Nakakadisappoint si Wiggins. He's too passive, and doesn't score well on half court sets because of limited ball handling skills and inconsistent shooting. Parang si Harrison Barnes. He really needs to make a huge leap in order to justify the hype.

I prefer Exum and Jabari over Wiggins. Exum was a tier above guys like Smart/Gordon in the FIBA U19 tournament but we haven't seen him play since. Jabari seems to be the closest to a sure thing in this draft. He's an elite offensive player with defensive deficiencies.

Embiid, Exum or Parker, Wiggins - my top 4

Next 6 - Smart (defensive dynamo, bad shooter), Vonleh (better size than Randle, David West type), Ennis (best pure pg, below average athl), Gordon (ex. athl/intangibles, can't shoot) K.J. Mcdaniels (the Jimmy Butler/Kawhi of this draft)...Randle (low defensive stats, high TO's, JJ Hickson?)

IND (54-25) @ MIA (53-25) later, 730AM (ABS CBN Sports Channel) for virtually the top seed in the East. If IND wins, they get the tie-breaker advantage in case they end up with the same win-loss record as MIA. IND plays OKC and ORL after this, while MIA plays ATL, WAS and PHI.

Also later, PHX @ SAS, 830AM on Fox Sports.

Heat vs Bulls  = Eastern Finals
Spurs vs Thunder  = Western Finals

I don't think the Pacers stand a chance against the tough fighting Bulls tp play the Neat in the Eastern Finals and as the Clippers don't stand a chance against the Thunder to play the Spurs in the Western Finals.

For a small ball team, Miami certainly played TALL earlier, shutting down Indy's biggies and virtually outplaying them the whole game ;)

Yes the Nets have a veteran crew but for being the 5th seed, their collision course is the Heat should they survive the Raptors or the Bulls in the 1st round.

Well, the Nets did give the Heat a hard time during their regular season match ups. I know the game changes during the playoffs but they can still give the champs a run for their money, imo

Unless the Bulls drop from 3rd to 4th seed, the Nets are safe not to meet the Bulls in the 1st round.
