Garnett needs to retire already. He is a shell of his former self and I think the fire is just not there anymore. He doesn't have anything else to prove in the NBA.

Pwedeng maging magaling na coach si Garnett balang araw.

Steve Kerr chose Warriors over Knicks.
I'm quite surprised since the Knicks are a more glamorous team compared to the Warriors but it's understandable that it's too much pressure coaching the Knicks when expectations will be extremely high.

^ exactly..  also knicks are in disarray, mas mahirap ayusin..  sa GSW he has 2 young superstar unselfish guards.. but  i think mas mataas ang expectation sa gsw, knicks has nowhere to go but up..

Go Spurs..

But without a better line up the Warriors wont go far into the playoffs specially in the west.
The Knicks under Jackson for sure will go after the best talents available to get a chance beating the Heat.
I hope aside from Lamar Odom, Jackson can go after Paul Pierce.
They also got a trade bait in Carmelo Anthony.
Maybe Jackson can also consider offering the coaching job to Derek Fisher.

It's not the pressure.  GS simply had the better offer financial wise.  He got 5 years at $5M per.  The Knicks offer was I believe the same at $5M but initially was good for 3yrs.  The Knicks countered with a guaranteed 4th year.  But GS still offered one more year.  Then the line up of the Warriors is playoff ready.  Then I believe Kerr is basically based already in San Diego or at least his children and family are.  He wouldn't travel that far to be with them.  So it was really a sound decision.

I'm warming up to the Kerr signing, but I would've loved it if GSW ended up with SVG.

Dude, hindi trade bait si Melo. He will most certainly opt out of his contract this offseason. The Knicks are in a position to either lose him for nothing or sign him to a max contract in a scale that pays him $29M when he's 34 years old. And if Melo would opt for a sign and trade, the Knicks really have no leverage to get a good deal for him.

And in the scenario Melo leaves the Knicks for nothing, they still won't have any cap space to sign marquee FAs until 2015-16. The Knicks don't have much in terms of future draft picks either, as some those were traded away to the Nuggets and the Raptors. There's just very little upside in the forseeable future unless the management embraces a full-on rebuilding mode.  Milagro yata ang kailangang gawin ni PhilJax para sa Knicks.

Sayang rally ng Washington. Indiana has regained control of the game. Malapit nang i-kasa ang ECF rematch. Hope it's going to be a good one.

No doubt, the X-Factor of the ECF will be the much-maligned Roy Hibbert: averaged 20+ pts (55% FG), 10+ rebs in last year's ECF. Anybody's guess which Roy Hibbert will show up this time.

Game 1 will be Monday (PH time), and Game 2 will be Wednesday, right after the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery. Yey!

Was hoping for a Clips-Heat finals para medyo maiba. Mukhang Heat vs Spurs/OKC part 2.  ;D

Shout out to Steven Adams! X-factor for the Thunder in both the Grizzlies/Clippers series.

Predictions:
Spurs in 7
Heat in 4

 ;D  Damn you KD!

That was an in your face MVP close out game for the bashers eh?  One of the best close out game by a player with a near 40 pt, 16 rebound game.  And you dropped those stats on me? How dare you!$#@   My son ( now a KD fan, after no Kobe show for one season ) was all over me after the game :  "Dad, you were saying?"

Anyway, I actually put my money on OKC earlier and thought that they will win on the road.  Won a bet that would tide us through the weekend.  So happy na rin ako. Pwede na rin...

And for that game alone, I guess KD deserves to be MVP.
