eto sir, "It's bitterly disappointing to fall short of our goals," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. "It's bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row. But we're competing against the Michael Jordan of our era, the Chicago Bulls of our era, and you have to tip your hats to them for the way they played this whole series.

Thanks for the info bro :)

Parker is listed as "probable to play" at ito na ang lumabas sa odds today-

SPURS -3.5 VS MIA +3.5
Over / Under 198.5

This might still change but I think this will be the final odds na.

I have until Thursday midnight to think about it.  So far, I like Miami and OVER.
If I got Spurs, I will have to go UNDER.

Esep esep pa...

Parker's sure return has moved the point spread

Spurs -4 vs Mia +4
O/U 199.5

My play :  Miami & OVER

if my understanding is correct, MIAMI shoud win by 5 or more points and that the total scores (Miami and Spurs) should be 200 or more to win in the bet.

There are 2 bets na pwede ka tumaya:

1)  POINT SPREAD.  Spurs-4 vs Mia+4 =  For Spurs to win, they should beat Miami by 5 points to cover the spread.  If Spurs wins by 4 points, Miami wins in the betting.

My bet is that Miami will cover the spread.

2)  GAME LINE 199.5, meaning total of the final score.  So you either bet OVER or UNDER.  Kung ang final score bukas e 101-99 and you bet OVER, panalo ka.  Pero kung low scoring, say 90-89 talo ka.  The key in betting over or under is to figure out if it will be a high scoring or a low scoring ballgame.

My bet tomorrow is OVER 199.5.

ALL BETS ARE OFF IF THE GAME GOES INTO OT.

who decides the odds?  The Oddsmakers in Vegas.  May magandang movie about this starring Brad Pitt : MONEYBALL.

Wait. Moneyball was about the Oakland A's GM Billy Beane and their against all odds 20-game winning streak by relying on stats and not on star power. Maybe you were referring to Two For The Money?

Bet :  Miami to cover spread of +4.5

SAS wins by 5 points = I lose
SAS wins by 4 points = I win
Miami loses by 5 points = I lose
Miami loses by 4 points = I win
Miami WINS by any margin = I win

Dehado ang Miami because homecourt ng Spurs kaya may plus sila.  When the court shifts to Miami, Spurs naman ang may plus.  Whoever has homecourt advantage gets favored thus they get the minus spread.

Grabe, 46" vertical! How I wish the Lakers had another pick. I'd take Gordon and Lavine! haha

There is a rumor na Lakers have fallen in love with Aaron Gordon though. "locked in" na daw sa 6th pick

Celtics yata yung rumored na "locked in" kay Gordon. Could be a smokescreen by Ainge.

Lavine's one of those prospects who needs a few years to be NBA ready. Bangko lagi yan sa UCLA  ;D

Crazy potential, tho....

haha. yeah, should be "Celtics" since 6th pick.

I can't get a read kung sino kukunin ng Lakers. ang labo ng pre-draft workout invites ng Lakers e. Mixed names from within the projected top 20 picks. From Kupchak's interview, very willing to trade down for more picks or getting another pick on top of the 7th. :D

On Lavine, yeah, UCLA's 6'9" point-forward took most of his minutes plus he surprisingly, only around 40-50 lang yung ranking nya sa class of 2013. For his stock to rise up so much, that's awesome. Pero yun nga, project player. A-la Gerald Green.

I think that Smart (if available) is the ideal Lakers pick at 7th.

pwede rin si Dougie Mcbuckets   ;D  -  Doug McDermott, Aaron Gordon take part in spirited workout for Lakers

Yep, Smart if he will still be available. McDermott though? No thanks. Not worth it at 7th. Very limited yan. Kyle Korver 2.0 with a some post up game. Tsaka sa interviews, target nya lang maging role player based on his answers. haha

Si Gordon so far gusto ko yung sagot when asked what he thinks when he looks at Lakers trophies - "I'm gonna get one" :D

^I was just kidding with the Mcdermott suggestion.  ;D

It's crazy how he's ranked so high on a deep draft, considering that he's already a senior. Very limited upside.. Mas bagay sa draft range ng Bulls (#16) o sa Grizzlies (#22.)

Excerpts :
Why will Miami win this series and get a three-Heat?
Destiny. It's Lebron James's time. He is no doubt the best player in the world, supported by future hall of famers, coached by one of the most innovative coaches in the league, and banked by an executive and a legend in Pat Riley.

Why will San Antonio win this series and avenge last year’s collapse?
San Antonio will win because they will absolutely refuse to lose back-to-back in the Finals against the same team. Their proven system will once again be put to the test and, this time, they will do everything to make sure they do not fail.

In 1984, the Celtics and Lakers did battle in that year's NBA Finals. The Celtics were 62-20 during the regular season while the Lakers were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in David Stern, replacing Larry O'Brien on April 1, 1984. The Finals that season was also the last time the Finals used the 2-2-1-1-1 format before going to the 2-3-2 format in 1985.

In 2014, the Spurs and Heat will do battle in this year's NBA Finals. The Spurs were 62-20 during the regular season and the Heat were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in Adam Silver on February 1, replacing David Stern. This Finals will be, for the first time since 1984, using the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

I agree. He will be a role player at best. NBA GMs should know by now that white guys who are scorers at the college level dont usually translate into great picks at the NBA level *cough*Redick&Morrison*cough*

I see the same thing for Stauskas. Role player.
