Like I've posted more than a few times in these threads, all of the other Phil Jackson assistant coaches have used the triangle offense - all of them failed miserably and won very few games.
Not a single one of Jackson's many so-called disciples, won anything significant in the NBA ...... it's no coincidence that they didn't have players named Kobe & Michael.
The triangle offense is a decent ball-sharing system which a team can use to compete ...... however, it takes great talent to win in the NBA.
IMO the PBA's Tim Cone uses the most advanced form of triangle offense in the planet - yet he only sporadically won during the post-Abbarientos years ....... he only began winning big again, when he jumped ship to the ultra-loaded SAN MIG Team.
