Is the LG oled 65A1PSA any good? Saw some units on sale thanks
Squatter. lol
Is there a way sa LG to check na hindi talaga demo unit sya and a new stock? Thanks in advance really a newbie at oled TVs eh thanks
medyo mahirap yan sir kasi alam ko na reset yung orasSent from my RMX1971 using Tapatalk
Ah ok thanks sir… the staff said bubuksan naman daw pag purchase, pero di ko naman nga alam what to check din to make sure its new stock hehe
^i’m buying a sale unit kasi sir and sale units are sometimes demo units, not really interested how “new it is” regarding production etc… but more of to be sure its new stock and not display or demo units passed off as new stocks Also the LG A1 unit pala is only 60hz refresh rate and not 120hz, is that something that i should be concerned about? Main use will really be for streaming movies - disney+, netflix, hbo max etc …source will be apple tv 4k and nvidia shield pro… thanks in advance
If your budget is for display unit then 60hz vs 120hz difference is not really a factor in purchase.120hz would be important to you if you had a PS5, Xbox Series X or a PC gaming machine. To know if the unit is not brand new is if it has signs of being unsealed before you had it opened in-store.Personally I do not bother doing this archaic practice and insist it be sold to me sealed and be unsealed at my install location. When store refuses to do this then I just walk out as they're wasting my time.
Thanks for the info sir on the difference of 60hz vs 120hz, appreciate it. My budget is not for a display unit hehe in fact was just going to impulse buy it at this store in Manila after seeing it on sale and the one who assisted me said that they are just clearing old stock hence it was on sale. Just asked here as home theater experts here may have ways to verify it but turns out there is none… will have to return to the store to check it might be a good buy if its indeed just old stock and not a demo unit. I read in reviews of the unit the processor is quite slow but i guess it will not matter in my case as i use an apple tv 4k and the nvidia shield as my sources
Yes sir display unit is same as demo unit.I’m not buying from HMR definitely, got a good deal from a known store in the metro:)
^yes sir…more of ung mode of payment naman that made it a good deal haha they gave the cash price kasi sakin kahit 24mos installment, other stores i asked ayaw talaga eh may interest or zero interest pero based sa srp or slight discount lang which adds about 15k din. Plus bdo and metrobank has promos right now that give additional rebate pa

Abenson in Trinoma is offering a 65C1 display unit for ₱75k cash and ₱83k 12 months installment (0%). Power on time is 4,200 hours in total. Given that an OLED's life expectancy is 100,000 hours, this is basically 4% depreciated.\Try other branches for Bnew stock Abenson at ATC has one unit last Tuesday when I inquired Sent using Tapatalk
