My Music room set up

After giving it much thought and taking in your recommendations I decided to put up a 2 ch audio set up.  Due to budget constraints I decided to venture on vintage gears.  First of all I converted our bodega as my dedicated music room.  Repainted the wall by myself and hanged the acrlylic paintings which my dad did by himself.  DIY rack was also done by my dad.  Ka Ernie's wisdom and inputs helped me to go this route on vintage gears.  Brader Greg also gave me very informative insights and guidance on deciding to have an audio set up, salamat mga braders.









Pioneer SA-7800ii
Sansui AU-Alpha 607 - my friend's currently hunting 907's in Japan
Victor XL-V501
Denon DCD-1300
Yamaha TX-480 tuner
Nippon America avr
Panther transformer
Amp cooling fan
B&W 603s2 - which I took from my ht set up, replace it with JBL
Van de hul & Rega speaker cables
Cal's IC

Nice vintage setup bossing! Madaming vintage setup na sleeper, kalimitan mas maganda pa sa mga overly priced current hifi gears. Learn to love the sound and not the brand and it will put a smile on your face for the years to come. :D :D tama ba ako ka ernie?  ;D

Sobrang agree ako dito sir. Pagnakuha mo yung tamang timpla ng tunog na gusto mo, kahit anong brand at model pa, that's happiness.

hehehe. lab u 2 bossing. di ba totoo boss? minsan di ba yung stereofile rated na gears di naman totoo. kya ang bottom line eh wag maniwala sa sbi ng reviewer kse klimitan bias sa manufacturer ;D ;D ;D ;D di ba dapat personally heard & reviewed.(regardless of the price) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Minsan boss doods ang item eh nasa kabilang panig ng mundo. Hindi pwedeng tumambling lang.  ;D So you have to rely on forum threads, online review, friends etc...eh kating kati ka na, kailangan kamutin... ;D ;D ;D

Well, that's happiness for now....until you hear another audio set up using other speakers and gears...then you become disillusioned with your current set up...then you are hit with the itch and upgraded your set up...until you hear.........that's called the never ending audio journey... :D
