The DIY IC by paolorenzo is a solid Copper core Amphenol cable.


Paolo's different cables do provide different sound flavors and very affordable.

I also use amphenol RG6 and RG59 for my IC. I use compression tool to connect to RCA connector no soldering needed

Question:  I'm not a science guy but I read somewhere that electrons travel along the surface of a wire.  If this is the case, wouldn't a multi-stranded copper wire be a better conductor considering that it would have a much greater surface area compared to single-core solid wire?
