FEU swept NU during the eliminations. But too close to call going into the Finals.

Congratz to NU and FEU and to Coach Altamirano and Coach Racela.

Same situation as the NU vs Ateneo game on difference was Tolomia elected to pass to his open teammate for a good open shot that won them the game while Ravena chose to take matters in his own hands and failed.
Mac Belo played like Ranidel de Ocampo.

Sy isn't a known crony of any past or current official ........ though he "donates" to all sides and is dirty just the same.

Last year, NU was like deer caught in the headlights ...... good for them, using that defeat as a springboard to success.

Still I like FEU's chances against NU in these coming Finals.

A little more than 5 years ...... somewhat similar to ADMU & SBC's rise to prominence when MVP started to pour in the funds - IMO their annual budget puts most PBA teams to shame.

NU deserve to be in the UAAP finals and Sy's investment over the team is already mature enough for them to take a shot at the title.
I hope they win it all over FEU.

You can see how these upsets are reported in newspapers today, it's in the front headline but less flair unlike before you would see them with big pictures and their highlights. Or was it in the finals?

Anyway, it will still be an exciting series when both squads meet this weekend because it's a different ball game. Just throw out the stats before the rounds because it wouldn't matter, it's composure and the team who blinks for a moment loses or cracks under pressure.

It was UST from 4th seed who booted out NU in first place then DLSU took out FEU in the middle last year. So it would be a cinderella story for NU if they get the crown this year, they nearly got eliminated from the final four but ended up in the finals this season.

Last season na pala nina Newsome, Elorde? Same with Norbert Torres pati main guys ng NU so it will be much difficult to get back-back championships.
