One thing I don't understand is while Perasol is the head coach and shouted instructions from the bench, it was always Ronnie Magsanoc giving instructions during a time out and Perasol never meddled even during crucial plays and just keep silent.

Na-uso na din dito (mostly sa PBA) ang offensive/defensive coordinators assisting the head coach ....... I'm very sure that this arrangement was brought over by MVP from his PBA teams.

Same thing that happened to Virgil Villavicencio in La Salle during the 90s, alumni booted him out because the team has always been a bridesmaid for 4 years I think. You can't just blame coaches because championships are completed by hard work, team work, deep benches, combination of players, good plays and ability to read your opponent's game plan plus a little bit of luck. With two years of blunder I'm sure he'll get the boot out too.

In my opinion as an alumnus, i think there's been a lot of overreaction from the fans.

Bo Perasol already overachieved by leaps and bounds. At the start of the season, we were outsiders to the final four, and we ended up being number 1.

I actually have the same opinion. Pre-season rankings never placed Ateneo among the top 4 of all so called experts afaik. While common or majority heavily favored DLSU to be champs and would dominate the league.

Yup agree. Sa NBA style ni coach Pop yan. Minsan nga si Duncan or Ginobili ang naglealead ng discussion sa bench during timeouts. Then you can see Pop nandun sa background sa likod ng huddle nakikinig lang.

Coach Bo did well this season kaso kinapos lng tlga sa semis.
Next season Ateneo will have a better line up if the former FEU standout Pinggoy can already play.
Magaling daw na point guard yn and he will surely lessen the offensive load on Ravena.

What Ateneo needs is 1 or 2 big men who can out-muscle the imports and fil-foreigners of the other schools. Their current bigs do a good job but are being dominated by the big men of the other schools.

I agree. Ateneo's current BIG men are not as dominant as during the era of Coach Norman.
Hirap sila sa NU bcoz Aroga simply out muscled each and every defender thrown at him by Ateneo and also bcoz of that, Arvin Tolentino got limited minutes thus limiting Ateneo's offense to Ravena and Newsome.
