Active HDMI cable would be more reliable.
yes ordinary hdmi cables can't handle that distance; long wire, high resistance, voltage drop and eventually signal loss. an active hdmi cable is one with with a built in signal amplifier to address the voltage loss problem.
I understood your answer clearly and I don't see any more reason to lengthen this exchange, my 1st post was in response to the first post. We're actually giving him two very similar options.
