Is the Epson EH-TW8200 and 8200W one and the same with the 5030UB and 5030UBe?

I ordered an Epson 5030UB from Amazon lately.  I took the opportunity to save money, since a relative was on her way home, and the price difference between the local TW8200 to the 5030UB is approximately P20T.  Am I right to assume that these two are basically one and the same?  Does anybody know whether the local Epson Distributor will extend after-sale service and honor its international warranty?

Yes... They are the same.
TW8200 is the HK model number.

That's around 105K pesos... More than 20K cheaper compared to local price.
Advantage lang talaga nang local units is warranty during the first year ^-^

My current projector is an InFocus X10. The local distributor does honor the warranty when I brought mine for repair. Ganun din kaya with Epson?

Most probably the warranty will not be honored since the unit was bought abroad. But I think they will still accept the unit for repair...
