DENON service center

bought my denon x500 HTIB from LIS, shangrila, then this oct 4, 2014 i brought it back to LIS because it displays weird character on the monitor. it was taking so long for the repair, until now the unit is still at the service center.

can't this be just replaced so that i can enjoy my HT.

Ang alam ko, may limit ang time kung kailan pwede ang replace agad. parang mobile phone, 1 week after purchase palit agad kapag nasira. Better ask the dealer or distributor kung ano ang procedure nila.

yup sir, me limit, baka lang makakalusot, mukhang malungkot pasko kasi mukhang lampas pa to ng new year,di magamit ang plasma hehehe

so bad, sabi may parts lang from the US and it will take 30 to 60 days as what osang of LIS have told. hindi naman siguro mga 20 kg yun para i sea freight, sa air freight e 1 week lang andito na, nakakdala naman etong service ng denon.

Sir, ganun talaga ang mga service center. Hindi talaga nila ipapa-air freight kasi it won't cover the cost of the warranty. May napagawa din ako sa Denon dati na nag-shut down kasi umiinit yun HTiB. Hindi nila nagawa. Ang solution, a technician added a fan sa ibabaw. If you are in a hurry, you can try to offer the service center na you will shoulder the air freight para lang madali ang pagparating nila dito ng part. Magtatagal pa yan lalo because congested sa port area. But kapag air freight, less than 10 days, dumating na yun receiver ko sa aking doorstep.

Why not request LIS for a service unit in the meantime. It may not be as good as a Denon X500 but you will have something to use until the parts arrive.

i pm'd jjohnc last nov 23 about the updates, but i have no knowledge about service unit. ive also sent a message at fb of denon, they replied after about 2 days asking for my cp number but its been a week and they havent contacted me yet.

bad experience from osang of Listening In Style, nakawala ng style, panay ang sabi na finafollow up, may sasabihin pa port congestion yun parts kaya na delay.
sinubukan ko lang mag email sa BEyond innovation last dec7, and they answered dec 8 that my unit was already released last NOV 20.  luko itong si osang na to, kalakas mang istorbo.sabi nya ay baka nasa warehouse namin sa pasig, e hindi naman pala inaalam nito ang mga unit kung nasan na. hindi naman pala nagtratrabaho.
dec 10 ko nakuha sa LIS and mukhang sya pa ang galit at hindi man lang marunong mag thank you.
