It seems his contract has an option after year one. So in case it doesnt work out, KD can leave for more money the ff season and longer term.

With his ankle/knee problems in the past, Steph looks not so indispensable for the Dubs anymore.

OKC:

I thought Durant was going to stick it out with OKC at least for one more go. Looks like this was just too good an opportunity to pass up, with Curry, Klay and Green all in their prime. This team is going to be a defensive nightmare for opponents. Pero sabi nga ni Andre Drummond: "They still gotta come down the other end. Not a very big team." Bogut is going to DAL while Ezeli is now a UFA.

As for OKC, tough luck. Westbrook will have a field day next season. But it could also be his last with the Thunder.

Pau Gasol is a good pick-up for the Spurs. Looks like the great Tim Duncan is set to retire.

i wished kd stayed with okc.

on paper gsw have a monster lineup, but they really didn't need a sf. they should have a gotten a servicable center. for the west okc is now out of contention. it will either be gsw or spurs.

for the east, they should just skip the regular season and let the cavs play in the finals again

looks like it will be a trilogy in the finals.

i wonder if firepower would be enough. boguts absence made it hard for gsw kailangan pa din sigurnd na disenteng malaki sa gitna. kung matuloy sa cavs si wade may makakatapat pa kaya ang cavs?

Warriors have been silent about their moves if they successfully recruited KD, I'm not sure how they will do it but as soon as they sign a center, that's already a core rotation of 7 players. Igoudala and Livingston will be the 6th and 7th man. I also expect barbosa and speights back on minimum contracts.

The pacers are building a decent team. And the crazy trade season is far from over, okc will not allow Westbrook to walk away like durant so a trade for him now is not a stupid idea, which makes the Celtics a live player for a Westbrook derby.

Warriors just signed pachulia to a $2.9m contract, he is no bogut but he is a serviceable 5 who is more mobile than bogut. No more rim protection though. I guess that completes the core 7. All that is left to do now is to convince the returning vets to sign minimum contracts.

Wow, 3 of the best shooters on one team ....... and with just one basketball.

Sad news for OKC - they still have enough to make it to the playoffs though; but they'll be probably fighting for slots 5-8 in the ultra-competitive West.

Great news for fringe teams e.g. MAVS, JAZZ & ROCKETS ...... chances to move up higher in the West just got a bit easier. The MAVS benefit even more, with Barnes falling on their lap.
