Hindi na kailangan ng Cavs ng other superstars, merong silang secret weapon si Tavares at Osman  ;)  :D

Ngayon pa nga lang tinambakan na GSW eh, wala pa si Osman kanina.  ;D

To be fair to the CAVS ......... They don't have a GM, they're capped as hell & the top FA's will normally go where the money is.

But, even if they do nothing this offseason, the CAVS will likely still rule the EAST (CELTS closing the gap fast though) ........ between the start of new season and the Finals, anything can happen, moreso in the loaded WEST.

Baka masilat ang DUBS, injuries, etc ........ the point is, not a time to panic for CAVS fans - hire a permanent GM, hope that he makes a favorable trade when it comes

You got to partly blame lebron too in this situation. He asked for players and got them. Asked a huge contract for Tristan and got it. Daming aging role players na pinagkukuha di naman nagagamit. What the cavs need right now is a good coaching staff and system.

For a team whose ownership is willing to pay salary luxury taxes and has poor coaching (I agree that Lue is an iinferior coach, but preaches decent defense though) and plays heavy ISO basketball, I'm sure that all the other EAST teams will gladly exchange places with the CAVS to have a shot at a championship.

That Thompson deal was huge, but its the price that elite teams pay to get a shot at a championship (which they did) ......... besides, with the last annual spikes in the salary cap, Thompson's deal doesn't look too big now.

CAVS need a GM first, then find those complementary trades - faster wings, backup PG.

Cavs doesn't need a system, LeBron is the system hehe... just surround him with good players that will complement his talent.

If I were Lebron, I'd welcome the Celtics current build up. I'd (Lebron) rather lose to the Celts in the East finals than lose again vs GSW. That would be his exit reason to leave Cavs for LA.

Good pickup for the Lakers. KCP is a better player than George Hill and Crawford.

If only they could add more wins, they might keep their 2018 draft pick as long as it doesnt fall between 2-5.

The Lakers' 2018 pick is unprotected as far as LA is concerned.  The 2-5 pick protected is for the Sixers.

no pick protection sa Lakers for next draft. Thanks to Kupchak and the Nash deal. :D

Ang Philly may protection. If the pick becomes #1 , the pick goes to Philly. If it's #2 to #5, it goes to Boston. If it's #6-#30, it goes to Philly.

Lakers needed to up the ante by giving KCP 18M for 1 year. He was looking for a more secure long term deal for a lower price but the Lakers cant give that to him for fear of losing financial flexibility in 2018. That 1 year deal is essentially a contract year for KCP so he has a lot to prove on the court this year so that he can earn a longer and more lucrative contract at the end of the year.  They can resign him at a much more team friendly long term contract after this season if he fits in their style of play.

Another option for LA: IF KCP has a great first half of the year they can flip him for a first round pick next year which is something they don't have.  Just like that Lou Williams trade to Houston which they parlayed to a first round pick (Kuzma) who is currently looking good in summer league play.

One thing's for sure...the KCP can play lock down defense. Curry, Thompson, Harden, Irving etc...all of them had a hard time with this dude guarding them last year.

Thanks for the info.

If that 2018 pick turns out to a gem, talagang medyo malas ang Lakers.

J Simmons and Spurs could not agree to new terms, Spurs renounced his rights and he becomes an unrestricted free agent ... but they will continue to negotiate terms with him ... mukhang lumaki ang ulo, quite un-Spur like

he would be a good catch to other teams willing to spend much, he has very good potential to be a superstar
