Topic: Wiring help (Earphones)

Need help gurus



These are the cables of my short cord earphones for my Sony bluetooth headset.

Left is the main cable to the 3.5mm jack which has 3 wires. red stripes, copper, and green stripes.

top right is the one going to the right earpiece which has stripe red and copper
lower left is for left earpiece which has stripe green and copper as well

there is also this off white fiber on all three wires which i think is some kind of insulation?

tried red to red+copper = no sound
tried green to green+copper = no sound
red to green+copper = no sound
green to red+ copper = no sound

i took out this part btw:



what am i missing?

Problem solved. Kailangan lang pala sunugin wires to expose the copper for contact

^sobrang nipis kasi nyan bro.  inis ako noon sa nasira kong beyerdynamics (my diy siraniko hands is at fault hehehe)

Napaka nipis nga talaga. Akala ko nga din na-siraniko ko na eh.
