takeover does not mean confiscation outright as what marcos did in 1972...ownership of facilities remains, the right to life liberty and property are enshrined in the 1987 constitution just as it was in the 1935, the difference then was, who will dare question marcos?

the framers of the 1987 somehow anticipated that a digong burat would come along, they prepared for him...

today, no matter how digong burat lavish the military and the police with huge sums of money, he can not get them to make him a strongman ruler, still no cigar, and time is running out on his game burat...
how do we defend our freedom? by the truth when it is assaulted by Marcos lies....

Problema nang pinoy masyadong regionalistic. They will stick to their
Candidates thru thick and thin kahit ba napaka walanghiya.

Sa case naman ni digunggong eh they equate his brash personality
To sincerity. Sa sad.
Kaya pala pag Ilocano Marcos Loyalist? Yung Ilocano daw ay masyadong loyal, ma politika or lovelife man. A friend with Ilocano roots told me na ganun daw trait ng Ilocano. Pag na inlove, forever, kahit na ayawan na.

Kaya na coin yung "Solid North'. And ginamit ni Duterte to his advantage during elections, kaya Ayun panalo Bongbong talo. Kasi ang circumstances plus kay Duterte, minus kay Bongbong when taking into consideration the whole nation.

The best solution would be to increase the oligarchs, so that power will not be concentrated to the chosen few. So if marami na sila, hindi na sila matawag na oligarch. old rich and new rich na.. Sa akin naman as long as you operate fairly and within the law, no problem. We do not seem to be happy when others succeed. Lagi may patama. We are sad when others are happy.

you really have no clue.....

ony a strong middle class that is well educated and steeped in the principles of democracy is the only possibel solution....

why you may ask? becuase in a democracy the rich and the poor have just one vote each, and the many who are poor can always overrule the rich if and only if they are well educated on the issues and not taken to propaganda machinations....

that is why it think Joma Sison must give up the romantic notion of an armed struggle and join the mainstream of body politik...

we have seen how M. Gnahdi was able to secure Indian independence without firinig shots...

he have seen how Jesus Christ harvested lots of people, though he did not have guns and swords and an army, well his army are all unarmed with faith as the only armour/shields and truth as their weapons...

armed struggle can be good if there is a chance it can be over by Christmas, but for armed struggle to go on for 50+ years? that is the height of folly.......of stupidity......

if Joma can not pull off a Vietnam, then he better drop it...and join in the struggle thru parliamentary means....educate the people....serve the people.....never kill people...

I think that was his wish, but with socmed, cannot do.

not true, Joma Sison is a lakay....someday a true leader will come from the north and the marcos myth will be shattered...

who would have ever thought that a Vico Sotto will rise in Pasig?

this is utterly wrong....democracy is still the best....
Singapore has a strongman yes, but strong in his adherence to clean government....and honest to goodness servitude to the people...

here we have a president who is more inclined to boast about the size of his penis than come up with solutions to our problems...relies on fake surveys and a troll army to prop up his image..

the marcos dictatorship model is a debunked model a discredited one too..why go there again?

I agree with your idea on communism. Pag may struggle na hindi time based and walang objective, hindi mag succeed yun. Yung Vietnam wala sila timeline, pero may objective sila- kill as many americans as they can, kasi alam nila yung tao sa America ayaw ng maraming mamatay na Americano. Kaya Ayun evacuate. They know their enemy. Yung strong middle class naman hindi yan mangyari if walang maraming oligarch di ba? Ano ba middle class sa Pinas? Working class right? Small business. Paano cultivate? Damihan oligarch!. In jest only. I think best way to middle class is by having small business. Hwag umasa maging employee.

So Lee of Singapore was not a dictator? The whole world was saying he was. He was, but he used it to make Singapore better. You think at that time of Lee democracy worked? I don't think so. Yes democracy is still best, if we have a clean and good government. But as long as we do not have that, dictatorship is the only solution. You think democracy will clean up our courts? It is only by firing squad the corrupt judges can we clean the courts. Why? because they are the last resort.

wrong again, the Vietnamese had only one objective, and that was to drive out the Americans from their country which they did in 1975....clear objective....they won....they even drove out the Chinese invaders after that....so i do not get it when digong burat is so scared of the Chinese...
if there is a group of people i will never want to meet in a war as an enemy, those will be the Vietnamese...

there is a new classification now and that pertained to salary, and if that was the basis, my eldest daughter is now at the upper middle class....

If you read the life of Lee, at that time Malaysia cut off Singapore, the communists were positioning themselves, and Lee said he could get killed at that time. When he took power, there was no opposition. He converted slums to tenement housing. People has no right to choose what floor or door he will live in. Govt. choose. Siya mismo nagsabi. Dami daw galit sa kanya. That is dictatorship. If democrazy Philippine style yun, take over na ng Kadamay equivalent doon. Yung ginawa ng Kadamay ,if ginawa nila sa Singapore yun at that time gumawa tenement housing ang Singapore? Ewan kung saan sila pupulutin. Sa atin kasi democrazy nga, sige nalang.

I hope you get my point. Extraordinary situation requires extraordinary powers.

the difference then with Lee and Marcos, if there is a very important decision to be made by government, he went back to the people in a referendum and asked for fresh mandates....

Marcos never did that, in fact when the 1975 constitution went up for ratification, there were no refferendum held, only baranggay raising of hands he claimed, ni hindi ko man lamang nasilayan yan in 1975....so there we had a dictator that trampled on the rights of the citicenz to a free and fair elections...so storngman in the phillipine setting is all about puttin roghshods over the people in order to perpetuate the strongman and amass great wealth leving the poor poeple to their suferings, did you even know that children in Negros died from malnutrition then? while Imeldific flaunted her 3000 pairs of shoes and partied al night long.....people are suffering from hunger and malnutrition....

so do not lecture me about strongman, it will never work here,

But how to drive out americans? to kill as many americans. That was the objective. Ano ang reason bakit umalis ang America? Dahil hindi nila kaya or dahil ayaw na ng American people.

Yung drive out Americans, vision nila yun. How to obtain that vision was to kill as many americans. Baka hindi tayo nasa same page. Kasi vision ang sinasabi mo, Yung yearly or monthly objective naman ang sinasabi ko to achieve their vision.

Relate natin kay Joma. Ano vision nya sa Pinas? Drive out whoever is the President? How? Basta sooner or later Manalo din tayo. Important din ang objective, kasi yun ang way to reach your vision.

Kung sa Vietnamese objective nila drive out the americans, tapos hintay sila ng ayuda sa China, hindi yun mag prosper. Sila mismo ang gumawa target how to reach out para ma drive ang americans.

How come it worked in Singapore and not here? But in Singapore you cannot do rallies right? Even today, need permit. That is dictatorship. I think it will work here. Pasaway kasi ang Pinoy. Quarantine nga lang, hindi sinusunod sa democrazy. Very simple instruction cannot follow. Bakit? Because of Democrazy.

digong burat had 4 years in malacanang, and yet today i can still see the slum dwellers living at the banks of the esteros in P. Casal street, near the Malacanan palace what has his government done for them....? we have preponderance of laws, no extra ordinary power needed, just a firm resolve to help the poor is needed.....

today we are under martial law, disguised as the Bayanihan act.....how fast can government act? tulog sa araw gising sa gabi, parang si Erap lang...

the objective of the Vietnamese was to gain independence after being a colony of France for many years....itong mga amerikano, umepal dahil sa cold war with russia, the americans did not want vietnam to fall inder the russians.....a communist vietnam is a threat to the american bases in clark and subic.....

war is war and the name of the game is attrition, kill the enemy as much as you can, the Americans used massive flights of B-52 bombers dropping massive tonnage of bombs in carpet bombing raids in the north to get hte vietnamese back to the negotiating table.... and inspite of the advance military hardware and over 57k american lives, they still lost to the lowly Vietnamese....when you look at a war, you do not look at what the Vietnamese did to the Americans, look also at what the Americans did to the Vietnamese....such is war, and as Ninoy said, " in war there are no victors but all are victims..."

so you see why China never scared me.....even the mighty america can be defeated in war...

Joma is for National Democracy, and massive part of that is genuine land reform....he is also against oligarchs who are like leeches sucking blood from the poor...a good ideology if you ask me, but the armed struggle part is what i am opposed to...

the National Democratic Front has two arms, the political arm and the armed component, the NPA...

Violations?  During the Senate hearing the NTC, BIR, SEC and DOLE testified under oath wala daw violations ang ABS-CBN if I remember it correctly.  Wala rin nakabinbin na kaso in any courts.

Hindi ba those are the ones who should be filing cases if totoong may nilabag ang ABS-CBN?  So why are there zero cases filed in court by the same government agencies?
