LeBron James is on track to overtake Karl Malone very soon for the Number 2 spot in the all-time regular season scoring list. As of now, LBJ has scored a total of 36,873 points and is just 55 points behind the Mailman (36,928 points). Notably, LBJ has reached this point total in 115 fewer games than Malone.
What's also interesting is LBJ might break Malone's record in Cleveland, where it all started for the King. The Lakers will play Toronto tomorrow, then Washington on Sunday, before traveling to Cleveland on Tuesday.
Kareem comfortably sits at first place in the all-time scoring list with 38,387 points.. for now.
