I choose DVD-A and SACD for suppoting stereo and multi-channel. The problem is ang mahal ng media, unlike HDCD which is as low as 400 and you can copy it to a CDR retaining the HDCD.

we have the same impression on the price of HDCD as against the DVD-a or SACD-- i will consider all pros and cons before i will settle to either- in these times sometimes its best to rationalize purchase of equipments--

i sent an email to pioneer asia inquiring the "out of stock condition of the pioneer 667a" in the market--- here's the reply of pioneer:

A lot better!

Especially the 108MHz/12-bit D/A converter, Dual PureCinema Progressive Scan(PAL/NTSC) and DIVX support. It can play WMA too..

got a good news from PIONEER - the DV676 will only cost 10k when u get it from your favorite dealers --

But the bad news is --- they only have a limited number of units available to be distributed in the market-- :'(
