Emmanuelle-  Going nostalgic in this 1974 film of a 20 year old Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel being brought by her husband to Thailand where she experienced sex with a girl and hot torrid sex with her husband.  I do not see any good plot or storyline behind it just the sex although I am amazed with the presentaion being very erotic.  Sylvia Kristel is really one hot momma although I think she makes it a point that everytime she opens her mouth, her must sound seductive.  French director Jus Jaeckin (yes, that's his name) did it well for his first movie.  The audio was in Dolby Digital 2.0 mono though.

This movie was hidden very well by my dad when I was a kid and I was just curious enough why so I watched it.  On the border of Rated R and X, truly a classic in itself!

Barney-Sing and Dance Barney-  Oh no not again....my kid is jumping up and down again raising her hands in Barney's tunes.  Seems like Barney Worship to me.  Very disturbing! :-\

Significant Others: Very Gen-X angst-y. All 6 episodes of the 1998 series. Featuring Jennifer Garner before Alias, Eion Bailey before Band of Brothers, and Scott Bairstow before he was convicted for child molestation.

Woah! This was way back in 1998? How fast doth time fly! I remember it like it was ummm...  1999.  :)
And I HATE Eion Bailey, one of the most annoying actors EVER. He very much deserves his lack of success.

The In-Laws-  Albert Brooks as a foot doctor (father of the bride) and Michael Douglas as a ex-CIA Rogue agent (father of the groom) and they are going to be inlaws!  Funny thing is...Douglas brings Brooks to his escapades who was shocked, sedated, kissed by a gay crime lord and had to be back in time for the wedding.  I havent watched the 1979 original though which didn't take away the thrill in watching this movie. This movie had so so reviews because of its comparison to the former version.  But...if you havent watched the 1979 flick, then you will be laughing all the way.  This is one funny movie that is very enjoyable for the whole family ;D

The Manchurian Candidate, SE - IMHO, this is one of the very best political suspense/thriller of all time.....and this special edition DVD is anamorphic kaya super linaw ang video transfer nito, it's far better than the previous non-anamorphic release

Mrs. Miniver (1942 best picture) - a great "war" picture without the actual combat scenes being shown, but you get the feeling that the battle is very real.....
