Columbia Tri-Star has announced the release of Dr. Strangelove: 40th Anniversary Special Edition, which stars Peter Sellers and George C. Scott. This two-disc set will feature a 4:3 transfer and both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio. Bonus features will include a documentary entitled ‘The Art of Stanley Kubrick from Short Films to Strangelove’, an ‘Inside the Making of Dr. Strangelove’ featurette, an original split-screen interview with Peter Sellers and George C. Scott, the original advertising gallery, talent files, and production notes. The disc is set to arrive on the 2nd of November, at which time you can expect to pay around $34.95.

thanks patriot for this info.. i hav ebeen looking for the boxset of kubrick at buti na lang wala akong nahanap.. now one by one, they are releasing each title..  ang mahal pa rin though...

i think i'll pass on this one, i checked & compared my present SE version with this and they are exactly the same

the only noticeable differences are the cover art (mas maganda pa ata ang luma) , and the addition of 5.1dd & dts audio tracks, but then again who needs these sophisticated audio tracks on this kind of a movie......

di na ako bumili ng 40th anniv. edition,halos pareho lang ng special edtion, audio tracks lang pala ang difference,pwede ngpagtyagaan ang luma,para makatipid
