Sorry the phono one does not have a USB out.

We will be bringing in peachtree audio.  Will ask if by any chance it can act as a phono amp because it seems to be able to do everything else :) http://www.signalpathint.com/index.php/decco/Use-a-decco.html

At first we are a little hesitant with this product because we feel that its too advance for techies who are not familiar with audiophile grade sound but with it coming from the ERA speaker guys carrying it is like a given.  So far its been doing well in the US.

Thanks.  But judging from the write-up, it may need a phono preamp just like a traditional integrated.

Anyways, if you have a PP-3 or a Pro-Ject USB phono USB, drop me a note with the price.  Thanks!

Sir... do you think its going to be sellable?

I think it will, but it would depend on the pricing.  You'd also have to have a setup that would mirror the actual projected user of the amp.  Which means you may have to setup a listening room with a computer (say, a macbookpro or an Imac, with the amp's DAC getting input from the optical output of the headphone jack of the iMac or Macbook, or connecting it to the optical out of an Airport Express wirelessly streaming from a laptop).

A traditional audio setup would do, but it would face stiff in-house competition from the lower-end NAD products that you have.  The peachtree would likely face limited appeal from the Cayin/NAD clients. . .

Just my 2 cents worth. . .

I could volunteer to test a unit. . .hehehe, since I have a wireless setup at home, with my laptop playing 320kbps AAC files to an Airport Express, and with the latter's optical output feeding an external NOS DAC, which is exactly what the amp will be substituting for.  And I'm even running them through a tube amp and via Castle speakers.  So, you'd have an amp and speakers that are from Audio Amplified. . .  :D

Just a suggestion though. . . ;D

Sir... do you think its going to be sellable?

Price would be a key here, but as previously mentioned it should be setup appropriately. I would go for a laptop and have it connected to the usb input, playing music through itunes. Since you also carry era speakers that's an ideal match for these amps :) There may be cheaper integrated amps with the same power rating but they do not have a dac and a headphone amp.

This is an amp that can be marketed to people who store a lot of music in their pc or laptop and wanted to use better speakers than the typical pc speaker offerings. It also offers convenience as there will be less clutter :) Sound quality should be better and no need to worry about interconnects if the usb is used.

Note that this integrated amp can be used as a preamp, headphone amp, dac as well, so it is very convenient. Is it good enough to be used as your main system? not so sure but its good for a bedroom or office setup.

they are targeting the techies who also want fine music from their PC or ipods.  Price point wise its around $800 which aint cheap but of course this unit is audiophile grade and comes with tube pre section. I know these designers from aerial acoustics and upon hearing ERA speakers they do know their stuff and now learned to produce it in an affordable way.

We will hopefully get our units last qtr of the year since the US market gets first stab at selling.  Will be glad to use your systems as test :)  This will be fun.

We would like to counter propose Soundright LN-01 at 4,500.  The properties are similar to SC-01 and both are made by Xindak.  We used to carry the SC-03 but shifted to Sounright since its a bit cheaper

Okay... will wait for supplier to reply.  But i still prefer bi-wiring since a factory wired bi-wire cable is usually just split into 2 cables at the end hence each line is using only half the girth of the cable.  A better solution is to bi-wire using one set (banana to banana) and one set (spade to banana).

Sir we need to know the value of the capacitor for your wharf speakers so that we can make a formal quote. labor is P500 which goes to the technician.

As for your dedicated audio system...  actually good speakers can do both audio and video.  you really do not need two separate set-up...  just a switch between the audio amp and the receiver which our technician can do for you.

thanks
