Topic: Celine Dion: A New Day: Live In Las Vegas

Currently on shelves! I am not a die hard fan but I gasped when I saw this one since I do not have to travel to Las Vegas after all just to watch this much-talked about musical extravanganza. The tri-fold digipac contains 2-discs, a very nice 20+ page booklet of production photos and song lyrics, all at a hello-price of P665 and who could resist that?

This is a top-notch, well-produced concert. I've watched my DVD over the weekend and I was really wowed by the production values of this concert. While there's plenty of theatrics throughout the concert, Celine's singing doesn't get overpowered by these visual treats. It's like watching a Cirque du Soleil production, sans the acrobatics, with Celine's power ballads as the main attraction.

As I've said in a previous post, I've already reserved a slot for this in my top 10 DVD purchases for 2008.

The disk 1 special feat may defect. I dunno if you have encountered this same problem. I bought it in astro sm makati. Can I exchange it sa ibang branch nila?

Nag pause siya several times dun sa special feat. Its like when you're watching a pirated disk. nakakasira siya ng player. i was very disappointed talaga.

Hmm. Maybe it's just your player. Mine was playing smoothly.

bochog, after reading your findings I watched it again today and I did not see any glitch neither.

Try to play it with a different player, if the problem still occurs, then your copy might be the problem.

I am not a Celine fan but my wife is    I did not get bored watching the concert. Superb! Just like watching broadway with Celine singing
