What's the difference b/w audio pro analog interconnector with IXOS XHA606 (1112) L/R RCA cable w/c is quoted for 2K up.

IMO, ixos brand are more expensive and i dunno if it has a lot of difference in sound quality with other brands di pa ko nakkabili ng ixos eh mahal kc hehe. For me, i'll stick with audio pro IC. If budget permits i'll try other brands.

are there any users of Tara Labs Prism interconnects here? ::) are they comparable to or similarly sounding to either Ixos, XLO or Ecosse?

to anyone who have tried their lines of product, please share us some of your notes on their sonic qualities and the improvements made to your system.

thanks

Generally, for long runs you need thicker cables so consider a 12g cable if you can afford it. You can visit Tech Central sa MCS. Look for amiel. Meron siya different gauges.

punk kid,

i think you should be more specific. Ecosse speaker cable comes in several models like the CS 2.3 and the ES 2.3 which is the more expensive one. but comparing them both to Ixos 6006, I think the latter model is a lot better. it has the patented Gamma Geometry and braided and twisted design which according to some performs better than a parallel pair because it has more capability to reject noise and distortion. besides, i think this Ixos 6006 has more strand count for a better and superior sound quality.

but if you're aiming for a quality speaker cable at a reasonable price, get the CS2.3.

try visiting Watt Hi-Fi and look for Carlos. I'm pretty sure his price is much lower than what others can give you.

ayos ba sa plugging Chris??   :-*

i also follow ur idea of putting an IC as a jumper and it gives me good results on highs and mids. im currently using acoustic research IC.

same experience here. Tara Labs Prism 5 smoothens the high frequencies and colorizes the signal by conveying a warm and natural sound. it can also eliminate the metallic sound commonly heard in rock music.

try either transparent interlink 100 or kimber kable hero. these ICs would definitely change the way you listen.  i was lucky to audition both ICs together with tara labs prism 5 with my audio set-up and i would say that both transparent and kimber out done the tara labs.

my two cents worth...

Tara Labs Prism 5 is only an entry level ICs and cannot compete with and should not be compared to signature brands like the Transparent and Kimber Kable ICs.  ::)

it's like comparing Toyota Corolla to either Jaguar or BMW. he he he he

although the transparent link 100 is cheap.. the kimber ic is not and should not be compared with the Tara Labs Prism 5. but still the prism 5 rocks !!

bro, i don't think Php7,250 (price of transparent link 100) can be considered as a cheap ic but i agree with you that tara labs prism 5 is a good ic for an entry level.

mahal din pala kimber, the cheapest (tonik) is around P3,500. magkano ba yung tara labs prism 5?
