sir

nababasa ko yung tweaks ng speakers, tulad ng pagpalit ng mga cap at pagpalit ng internal wirings. gumagawa din ba kayo nito? salamat

sir vwbeetle,

some people tweak their speakers and claim improvement in sound.  Yes, we can also tweak your speaker.  Better if you'll provide the parts like capacitors and wire specially if these are ordered overseas.

thanks,

Benedict

Sir, just small concern. I experienced to hear a rewound woofer but the problem was the scretch sound inside audible only in low volume, but I'm afraid that the voice-coil maybe scratching to the shaft that eventually it get shorted?....  ::) haaay...   ;) mahaba ang tanong ko... :D  sir my apology...  ;D

sir audiojunkie,

The "scretch sound" sound that you hear even in low volume is what we call "sayad".  Possible cause of that are 1.  the voice coil was not properly rewinded, wires overlaped.  or 2.  It was not properly centered prior to re-assembly.  Yes, it is possible that it will get shorted because the voice coil and the magnet shaft will have contact, and when that happens the voice coil will get burned or your amplifier will get burned.

Thanks for asking.

Hi Benedict,

Can you replace speaker covers or mesh covers?  Our helper accidentally sprinkled white paint on the mesh cover of my Yamaha NS-P100 center speaker.  Unfortunately, this type of speaker doesn't have removable mesh covers.  I'm afraid to use cleaning agents.  Text me at 0917-8105066.  Thanks.

sir ramble_on,

sorry for the very late reply.  we're not into fabricating enclosures, ibang linya na po kasi yun.  we're purely on speaker repair.  Sometimes we do some minor repairs on baffles and replacing the cloth cover but not fabricating enclosures.

thanks for asking.

sir Sherlock,

We can replace the cloth cover of your Yamaha NS-P100 provided we can find similar cloth used or if you want the closest match.  Please bring your speaker to our place so we can start finding a replacement cloth.

thanks

Sir, do you also repair computer speakers? I have a Creative Inspire 6600 6.1 speaker w/ sub. The problem is  that the center speaker isn't working anymore (pero gumagana siya kapag plinug sa ibang outlet). Pati ung volume control niya, minsan humihina ung volume kahit na hindi inaadjust ung volume control. Thanks!

sir kinkydoo,
yup, we also repair speakers for PC (basta speaker, hehehe).  Patignan natin kay tatay maigi baka kasi marumi lang yung volume control baka makuha pa sa linis.  The best ay pakidala na lang sa bahay para matignan kung ano talaga ang problema sa speakers mo.

thanks,

Benedict

Sir, I think the problem is not in the speakers, but the amp itself (enclosed in sub box). Ayaw mag-on e. What may be the problem?

thanks

Hi Sir Mojo,
I learned that you can also take a look with amp problem.

I have a Sansui AUD-55F amplifier. I can't use at the meantime
due to the following:
1. the L-R balance need to be set at 2 o'clock to strike the balance
    between L and R channel
2. There are times that the left channel will be suddenly out, need to
increase the volume to hear from it again. Could it be a loose
connection from some components or is it a pot already failing?
3. need to replace rail capacitors also, bulging na.

Can I bring this to your place for diagnosis?

Sir tnx dun sa repair ng speakers ko. Can't wait to test it tomorrow. Also the tweeter looks new, as if nothing happened when it was deformed when i brought it there the other night. As they say, you are truly a master of your craft. Thanks again sir.  ;)

sir carbomb,

Usually it takes 3 days para tuyo na maigi yung pandikit.  Pero kung nagmamadali ka we can do it in two days pero no guaranty pag natanggal ulit yung dikit.

thanks,

Benedict
