nice thread!

I might use a tarpaulin and paint it with dark gray. mukhang mahirap ang black out cloth dahil sa frame.

my temporary screen will be made of a silver gray/dark silver, and will be made by our local upholstery shop here in makati.  it will cost less than 1k including the plywood and foam, yes ill have them stretch it.  this should help avoid crease, a common issue with pj screens  ;)

mukhang mahirap ang paper as projector screen. once magusot or madumihan mahirap na ayusin.

hi,

i have a lot of perforated screen all in all around 6m x 13m (willing to cut to specific sizes) with no stand or frame. does anyone know who would be interested with these? i was thinking maybe the HT community would know which stores or personal buyers would want these and maybe have it framed and re sold again. im not really looking to sell this piece by piece or for monatary value, preferably i was thinking of a trade, for my whole supply for a panasonic ae4000u projector or a B&W 685 theater package and a denon 1910 w/ wires.

the screen brand is harkness. these are acoustic projector screens where you can install the speaker behind the screen for a better movie experience.

thanks in advance everyone

are you thinking of painting a wall as your screen? try 2 coats of semi-gloss white over a coat of flat black. if the picture is too dark add a coat or 2 of gloss white.

Hi. Ask ko lng till now ba wala pa din available ready mix paint designed for DIY projector screen?

Screengo is a paint projection screen  and its available here in the Phil.  I have inquired about this already. It's not cheap, there estimate for a 90 inch screen is 8,000 plus.  Their number is 5840000 and their showroom is at 5 ideal st, addition hills, mandaluyong.  Hope this helps.
My screen is also a DIY using a laminated board(white) then painted it with flat light grey.  This is surrounded by black framing. So far still happy with my DIY screen.  Maybe next time I'll go for the screengo if budget permits.

At 8k, might be cheaper to get a manual screen.

lagyan mo ng konting black color yung white na flat na boysen. depende sa gusto mo you can make it dark gray to light gray. if you want better contrast medyo darker ang gray, otherwise light gray na lang. For tarp you also have to paint it to prevent hotspotting.

Bossing musta? Musta na din ang hdd? Hehe! :-( I'm thinking of changing this entirely... masyadong nawawala na yung quality pag nasa 130" yung size nya kahit HD yung source ko. :-(

bro less than P1500.00, gamitin mo 3/4plywood para no need for back framing. tinting color bro ung hinahalo sa flat white para medyo maging gray.

Depende sa mata mo, but you have to start with light gray pataas. ako nasubukan ko ng darker shade ng gray ok naman. but after a while nagsawa ako, ngayon back to plain white ulit. kung wala akong magawa ulit pwede kong pinturahan ng darker shade na naman. at least mura lang ang paint  ;D

Popejerico -- got no problem with my HDD  ;D
