Sir, first of all this is coming from a non-audiophile guy who just love music...
I heard dali ikon 6 connected to a Denon at Archi-audio, I forgot the model but i think its either 1610 or 1910. I have asked them to try it just to get a feel of how it will perform if connected to a receiver similar to the wattage of my entry-level marantz receiver. I ended up taking home a pair of ikon 6 (thanks to epoy and nico of archi-audio).
Though the sound coming from Denon was already good, I would say that my 80wpc Marantz receiver sounded better (but that's just me)... My system composed of Marantz SR4400 av/receiver and Marantz DV6001 Universal SACD/DVD player.
With the Ikon 6 connected to my marantz receiver, my initial impression was already positive. Immediately napansin ko na ang linis ng tunog, ganda ng vocals, di nakakapagod pakinggan kahit matagal (di masakit sa tenga) maganda ang kalansing, parang totoo tunog ng gitara pag kinakalabit o strums, ganundin sa cymbals (if you like acoustic music) you will surely like this combi. However, medyo bitin ako sa bass...
After 2 weeks of listening, lalong gumanda tunog. I made some adjustment on the speaker placement, medyo dinikit ko ng konti sa backwall iyong likod ng speaker about 6" from the previous 12". Bass improves a bit without sounding boomy. I feel that this speaker has lot of potentials kaso I don't have budget for now to buy higher wattage ampli and add some room treatments...

I've heard the Dali - Denon combination and it sounds terrific! Im just curious how this combination compares with the Dali-Marantz combination. Hope you can share your experiences. Thanks!
