Got them for pure movie applications Sir Joseph (powered by an Onkyo AVR) and they did not disappoint.
I did a very quick comparison with my other bookshelf though(can't help it

My non-pro observation...the highs are nearly as crispy and sweet. Masarap sa tenga kahit matagal na nakikinig. They are smaller than I expected them to be but they can fill my listening area (not a big room)
Sa movies, labas ang details pero di masakit ang kalansing. Like any bookshelf of this size, I guess the trade off would be the low end, although the bass performance for my preference is enough. For movie application, I let the subs make up for it
Of course break in period pa lang din but I'm happy.
I would say this is one budget pair worth listening to.
