Hmm.  I'll probably get this when Astroplus goes on sale.  Sana maging P1100.  Hehe.   :)

Parehong-pareho lang ang laman. Kaya lang, instead of isang DVD-18 yung movie, ginawang dalawang DVD-9.

Malayo nga ang ganda ng packaging nung old version.

i guess i just have to buy east of eden, rebel without a cause and giant separately instead of the james dean box set. kasi may cardboard slipcases pa yung eden and rebel, more so if the old 2-disc giant has the same content and features as the new 3-disc version like what u said (tama ba ako sir?). salamat po uli mr hankey.

from the posts of sir firewired... Warner has a month long anniversary sale. He'll probably post the details before night time.  ;D

havent been to other astro branches, festival palang, since last night. not yet sure if they (other branches) already marked down their warner titles.

i was at sm north edsa last night. inside the dept store, most titles cost 299 (before sunrise, etc.). at astroplus at the carpark, some 299 titles are 375. i bought streisand's what's up doc and ingrid bergman's gaslight (375 each). the 2-disc dvds (singin in the rain, etc) are now 475 each. they said this will last til end of october.

need more money now grrrrrr

Just got the boxed 2-disc Rebel Without A Cause and East of Eden for 299 each.  I already have the slipcased Giant bought last year.  So I don't see much point getting the boxed collection for 2T+ anymore. They should bring this box set to around 895.   ;D

Still havent bought Rebel SE. I have seen a copy though, but surprised to see that its no longer selling for 299. Its now 495. (Astrovision Festival Mall)  :o In fact, all SE of Warner going for 299 and 425 last October seems to have repriced at 495.

Perhaps, the sale is over? Or isolated incident lang ito?
